    Quite nice but not polished
    Cons: Linked Last.fm don’t scrobble tracks, lack of sorting songs, albums… sometimes I need to wait a while to find a product or app wrongly recognize Zeppelin as new product. When I type first letter in search bar the keyboard are hide automatically and show results… Don’t show my daily mix and new arrivals from tidal. Changing volume doesn’t work always.. Pros: looks very nice, easy to understand, quite fast. Show more

    App auto opens every time headphones pair
    Please stop the app from auto launching every time headphones connected to the iPhone. Very annoying and disrupts other apps.

    app automatically launches every time headphones are connected
    this is such a rude way to interrupt your users when they just want to listen to audio. i don’t want to do anything in the app, it should not launch by itself. Show more

    Good sound but annoying issues
    This review is based on my experience using the music app with Px7 S2 for few days. Not sure if the issue is with the app or the headphones. B&W group team: Please read the feedback and prioritize in your upcoming updates. Here are some issues I see. For some reason, when I paired my Px7 S2 with my iPhone, under iOS Bluetooth settings it shows two devices - Px 7S2 and LE_BWHP. This is very confusing to an end user! The headphone auto disconnects (maybe this is related to Auto Standby) and doesn’t reconnect until I fiddle with the Bluetooth switch by either sliding it upwards or completely switching on our off. (All this time I see the LE_BWHP device connected and the PX7 S2 disconnected. This is just a pain to have to do this every time! The music app takes over the screen when it connects again (after I have fiddled with the switch as described above). For e.g. I am browsing my music collection and boom you are whisked over to the music app. This is too aggressive. Extremely annoying! Dropped Bluetooth connectivity randomly. I was on an important work call today morning with my bosses boss and I lost connectivity. Phone was in my hand. Very frustrating! I have Jabra earbuds, Bose speakers and have tried Apple AirPods and none of them have this type of behavior. I gifted these to myself because I was tired of seeing everyone with Apple, Sony, and Bose products. I urge B&W team to pay attention to the software experience as much as they care about their focus on producing the best sound from the hardware they design. B&W brand will suffer if this poor user experience continues. I really want to love these headphones because the sound that comes out is really good! Show more

    requires local network access to adjust headphone eq
    this app is a dataleak in the making, which part of my $400 headphone is in need of my email address and live internet connection exactly? why are all the menus hidden by datagathering popups? btw as an EU citizen im explicitly not allowing you to capture/store/resell my data so keep that in mind… update, have to delete this app off my phone since it launches itself on bluetooth connect and when doing so kicks off other devices that are connected to the headphones Show more

    Easy to use
    I like this utility app overall. Every setting is simple and straightforward. There is one thing that I like to ask: No matter what name of space I set, either customized or using preset names, it will change to Living Room by itself later. I mean the name that shows at iOS AirPlay - speakers & TVs. How am I supposed to keep it on the customized name? Show more

    Auto Launch is a SIN
    I have the PX8 headphones. Hardware is AMAZING. Your app feeling so self important that it has to launch when I fire up the headphones is a travesty. I used it once to set up EQ how I want it and to make sure auto wear sensor was off. That’s all I needed it for. Stop forcing me to “deal with” the app every time I turn on these stellar headphones.     App is functional but…
    …I would really like the option to stop the app from opening automatically when the headphones are connected, every time they are connected. This is an annoying “feature”. Otherwise excellent headphones (PX7 S2). Wise choice that the default setting for the wear sensors is “off” as they are pretty useless (pausing for no reason even when set on Low Sensitivity). A more extensive EQ would be nice but I am glad to have at least the option of adjusting treble and bass levels. Also should have a better option for using digital assistants like Siri. Why not have a press and hold option either on the left cup button or on the main multi function button. Only have the one option for ANC or Assistant on one button is not very helpful. Show more

    My A5 is no longer supported?
    So the old Application was removed from the App Store and replaced by this new B&W Application. My A5 speaker, which I’ve had for years, is now no longer a supported speaker through B&W wireless connection. Great going guys. Hopefully older model speakers will be supported soon. Never thought B&W would succumb to the business model of making their customers buy their latest products to stay relevant. Show more

    Undependable
    Super glitchy. Overly complicated app. Audio drops out when paired with formation base. Spending a lot of time troubleshooting.

    Can’t stop auto open
    Every time my headphones connect, it launches the app, and I can’t turn it off!

    Speakers are great, B&W apps are the worst
    The app fails to connect, randomly, and is clunky and useless when it is occasionally working. B&W should be ashamed of their app and hire competent programmers.

    Great headphones, barebones app with issues
    Can’t do much in the app other than basic changes to the settings of the headphones. Px7 S2 in my case. Most annoying thing though is that the app opens when I turn on my headphones. Not just a notification like with my other headphone apps, but straight up opens front and center over riding whatever app you had open at the time. Turn on your headphone while in a music app? Not anymore, now you’re in the B&W app. Turn them on while in YouTube? Now you’re in the B&W app. And half the time the app doesn’t even connect to the headphones even though my phone is connected to them. Please B&W, fix the app. These are expensive luxury headphones, so why can’t the app represent the quality of the product? Show more

    Great sound
    Great sounding Soundsystem I have the formation duos the bass , the formation audio in the formation flex along with the formation bar the remote control feature on this app for the formation bar does not work at all. Can’t get it to configure and it would be awesome to have an option to have multiple subwoofers going as I like to have two subwoofers possibly even three especially when I’m watching film, the app is extremely buggy still needs to be fixed and needs more detail when it comes to the options of setting up particular sound like trouble, bass etc. as of right now I do not have the wedge I do plan on getting them at some point, but I would like to have some improvement done with what’s going on.     Not handling the new PX8 well
    It is borderline not acceptable in this day and age to ship such an expensive pair of headphones with this bare app. Functionality is very limited (cycle the ANC) and two sliders for treble and boost. No EQ profiles, no way to customize the ANC. Even more annoyingly, the app insists on opening itself up EVERY SINGLE TIME I power on the px8. Why BW, why??? What can I really do in the app? It doesn’t connect with my music services (Spotify, AmzMusic, AppleMusic) so what possessed you to think it is a good idea to pop up the app on every power-on? It opens itself up on top of whatever else I am doing, and just serves to remind me just how useless the app was. Sorry, but the otherwise excellent headphones are just a really bad pairing with this app. I liked the app for the PX7 much better - maybe consider just supporting the PX8s there. The only reason to have this app with these headphones is to install updates and considering my PX7s got updated exactly once in two years, I think I’ll take my chances without this, in-your-face-annoying app. Show more

    Cannot pair Px7 s2 headphones
    For the love of… I cannot connect my cans. “Ready to connect” the app finds the headphones and then goes into another screen to pair, but in the mean time the headphones say “unable to connect” because it is all taking way too long. I’ve been stuck at this step for the 9th time now and about to give up. $400 headphones with an app that cannot connect?? Update: I got a response from the developer basically explaining the pairing steps again. The problem is that the process takes too long, and the headphones say: unable to connect. So, no, that did not help. Show more

    Worst app I’ve come across
    Seriously, how could such a revered company release this garbage and think it’s okay? Must control volume with app (despite it “learning” the tv remote, which doesn’t work as app overrides everything). They should be ashamed to release this and let people actually use it. Makes me question the entire company. Show more
