It’s a very basic app with no whistles and bells. And that’s what makes it great. Almost nothing that can go wrong. I love the content. It’s not just 70s, 80s and early 90s “new wave”. There are a lot of 2000s and current releases. Often artists I’ve never heard of or rarely hear outside of niche podcasts. Yes, the content isn’t always 100% what I’d want to hear. Particularly the shows that focus mainly on a single artist. But that in and of itself is a form of diversity. I became a monthly donor today! No obligations. No pressure. No minimum amount requested. The content is so good that I felt financially supporting the broadcast was the least I could do. There are so few advertisements that I can’t understand their revenue stream without donations. Show more

This is by far my favorite app! I cancelled my Sirius radio subscription because this now exists. It’s my favorite Houston nightclub 24/7. It’s all the greatest 80 new wave that never sees the light of day. He also sprinkles in current cool music, too—that I would’ve never known without him. Wes has blossomed during the pandemic.
