    Extremely disappointed
While the speakers sound very well, the APP fails to connect. I don’t think I’ll ever buy another COMO Audio component.

    Useless
App can’t find radio though both are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Worse: App provides no instructions or guide as to how this problem might be solved.

    App stopped working
I have a Como Solo that I love but the iOS app started working. I’m not sure if it’s because of an iOS upgrade or some other change. The device is detected and can be controlled in Spotify so it’s on the same network. Show more

Requires location information for no good reason
Why does this require location information?

    Updated: Just awful.
I have two Como Audio units and I really like them. I wanted to be able to use this app for the additional functionality but it keeps saying I’m not on a wireless network. I am. The radios are on the same network. When it finally realizes that I am on a WiFi network, not all of the radios show up. When a radio does show up, the presets are source dependent but that’s not the way they are on the radio. Bottom line, this is a very poorly thought out app. It’s as if the app developers never even saw a radio unit or knew how it worked. Update: It’s better now. I’ve added two more stars. Como updated the app and the radio software and it seems to be working better. The key? Make sure location services are always on. When it’s set to “only when using the app” seems to slow things down and cause radios to disappear from the app for a while. What still needs to be fixed are the presets. They don’t function the way the radio presets function yet they impact them. Presets should be radio-dependent, NOT source-dependent. This should be a top priority to fix. Show more

    Great radio, bad app
Not stable, gets stuck a lot. Also, why can’t I make favorites on the app beyond the 6 presets? Fix this and it’ll be awesome. Great radio and sound though!

    It works fine
I don’t understand all the negative ratings. My experiences has been totally positive. There was a glitch when I updated my iPhone to iOS 13, when the remote app couldn’t find my WiFi or my Musica, but rebooting the phone cured that right away. I particularly like the features that allows you to make a note of what you’re hearing (on a streaming service or Internet radio, say) and share it to Notes for future reference. Show more

    Very Poor App
Unfortunately this app does little more than get you connected to your Wi-Fi network. The Como radio itself has great sound quality but be warned if you intend to use the radio as an alarm clock. Setting the alarm is a major pain. The app could address this deficiency by providing an interface to set the alarm clock times and adjust a daily schedule. Also annoying is lack of feature to automatically dim the display according to time of day. It’s unfortunate that little thought has been given to the user experience that significantly detracts from the fine listening experience. Show more

    Reliable Remote (again)
After updating my iPod to OS 12.1, the constant disconnects between the Como app & my Solo have stopped. Being in IT, I know there can be a tug of war between app & OS, so let’s hope for the best going forward! Show more

    Set alarm?
Would it be possible to add the ability to set alarms from the app?

    App won't open
Tried deleting it, and downloading it again. Tried turning off phone, turning it on. Still didn't work. On the most recent version of the app and an iPhone X

Had to update to iOS 11.2.5
App stopped working. Had to update iOS. Functions generally work. Not entirely intuitive. Number of internet stations is daunting. Need some sort of rating system to sort thru it all. Otherwise, just have to use Spotify. Show more

    Como Audio
Reboot the router and perform a re-start on the smart phone. Also, perform a System reboot on Solo in the System settings menu. Try the app again. If that doesn’t cure the problem: Make sure both Como units are connected to the same WiFi network as the smart phone. Remove and uninstall the Como Control app (don’t just remove but also uninstall. This is important). Go to the App Store and re-download the app. Try the app again. Show more

Works great, just like the radios!!
October 14, 2017 Everything works just like the on-radio menu, and from 15m away, no problem. Due to condo-splitting, we only have 5 down / 3 up Internet service — so it is not a finicky app, or a bandwidth hog. Only one (1) thing needs to be added (or more clearly identified) to reach perfection — a way to add the current internet station or podcast to the Favorites list. Sainthood proceedings could be started be if radio.garden could some how be linked... Show more

    Crashes
Crashes on launch. Will not run.

Doesn't Work Most of the Time
Even with a high speed network the Ap rarely connects with the radio. Works well when it does, though.

Ok, but needs a lot of work
Pros: it opens correctly (does not crash, at least) // it allows to do very basic stuff (switch between presets, volume, etc). Cons: cannot find a way to access "favorite" stations and switch between them // UX and UI are not user friendly // I wonder why they chose to offer only 6 presets (obviously, the choice is related to having space for 6 buttons on top of the screen of the set-top box). Even with 6 buttons, they could have easily implemented a software solution to have 12, 18, 24 presets. // there's no way to add a station to your list of favorites from the app (big issue...) Regarding the remote control that comes with the unit, I wish there was a way to circle/switch through presets and favorites (at least there's no way to do it when listening to online radio). I know this is the first version, I look forward to seeing the next iterations of these app. Hopefully it will get much better. Here is a suggestion: create a user forum where we can post software and product suggestions. Show more

    Needs work
App crashes every time it is run, needs an overhaul.
