Simple and perfect.

It has every possible feature I could need. Yes, at times it is a bit glitchy, but that does not stop this app from being amazing!

I don’t have to make drum loops in garage band when I give lessons now! More than enough options in this app!

I really dig this metronome app (especially since my Quartz one died!). The training and loop functions are amazing. My one big critique is: if your phone locks while you’re in the zone, there’s no access to the Groove Trainer on the Lock Screen. Scott, please add! (Also your lessons are amazing) Show more

This app replaces all of my other apps I was using for practice. Fantastic tool to train your ear and your fingers and become more comfortable in the pocket. The only small UI tweak I would love to see is the addition of a visual display of the tempo on the metronome page (flashing dots or something) that gives you visual reference of the tempo in the event you want to practice without headphones or your phone speaker. Other than that 10/10. Going to be using this all the time. Show more

SBL is AWESOME! Another great tool to practice with. Easy to use and keeps the beat. I love that the podcast is on this app! ?

Much like everything that SBL does this is top notch. It’s also free… SBL gives so much to the bass community and this is another example. I would have definitely purchased this app and was surprised when I didn’t have to. All of my students now have this. I have put it on my iPad and phone for easy access to warm-ups and away from home practice when out on tour. Thank you Scott and the whole crew. Show more

Absolutely love the Groove Trainer App.It’s essential to warm up, practice, jam, etc I have used Groove Trainer from the web interface of Scotts Bass Lesson’s and often thought how cool it would be to have access to it from my mobile device via an app. I use it everyday, btw, it’s an easy way to access all the podcast as well. Get it? BEATS all others. Ha! It does it all as a preprogrammed drum machine. In fact, I bought a drum machine 3 months ago for a lot of money. If this app was available then, I would not have needed it. It’s no fun playing /practicing with the click,clack of a typical metronome. This is truly a must have for your music practice. Show more

Now THIS is an metronome app that is superior to all others in the field. So much here to benefit any musician of every level.
