When using the app during the ketamine treatment, it guides you through picking music to listen to, the tricky part is, the controls for the player are on the main screen, not within the pop-up for the experience, so the music won’t pause properly and you have to exit the experience to stop it, then re-enter to choose other music. Also there is no auto-correct in the in-app chat, which isn’t a huge deal but it shows me how bad I am at typing and makes using the in app frustrating. Also the group sessions are all on east coast timing. There wasn’t anything after work for west coasters. Again, nbd, but I’ll have to miss sessions because I have to work normal hours. Thank you! I’ve used this app while I wait for my medical consult. When you call to set it up, you can get pre approved but they don’t tell you the later medical consult (which I couldn’t schedule for two weeks out PLUS you have to pay prior to even talking to the doctor, who might not approve you. The fee for that alone is $250. I wasn’t told this price but had to pay 1/3 ($1000) before you can access the app, which is where you learn the fee is non refundable. Since I haven’t had my consult, I’m probably going to cancel. The app itself is not user friendly, it cuts off, and you get A LOT of notifications to complete stuff on there I can never find. Plus, I don’t need all the music and meditations you have to complete before even going through the consult. All I need is the medication. I have a therapist and free psychiatric therapy through insurance. I don’t like the meditations or music. All these features are built into the entire fee, which is $3000 for six months. I’ve had one ketamine treatment locally that didn’t work because I’m on diazepam (it blocks ketamine). I either have to stop taking it two days before or taper way down, difficult since I’ve been taking for 12+ years for epilepsy. The app and website tell you benzodiazepines don’t affect ketamine. Not true! Search further and you’ll see the information. The Mindbloom app states this up front. Trying to navigate the app is almost impossible since the pages cut off and no directions are there. I can’t recommend at this time but will update my review if I decide to move forward. UPDATE: I didn’t go through the process because I needed treatment quickly and there really is too much extra integration built into the price. I went to a local clinic and had six IV infusions for around $400/treatment. The customer service at Nue Life was great. If you decide to try mail order, they are easy to work with. Since I hadn’t done the consult yet, I got a full refund. Compared to the price for IV or IM, six months is a good deal (if the dose is correct). I would happily try this company for follow up care if not for the consult price. Both my therapist and psychiatrist have approved me for ketamine so I’m not willing to pay $250 for another consult. I also would want to pick just what I need, not a total package. I will say that everyone I spoke to there was helpful and friendly. Great customer service. Show more

While I am very satisfied with the medical treatment I have received from Nue.Life, there app is in serious need of a complete overhaul. Whenever I try to add a sitter, the “add sitter” button does nothing. As well, when I try to confirm my experience date, the app simply resets my date and sitter, making me start the setup process over. With how much we have to pay for this program and as an iOS developer myself, there is really no excuse for this many glitches in an app like this. I signed up for 18 sessions. I completed the 14 mailed to me direct with 4 MD consults. My doctor is the only reason I didn’t cancel the program. She is an amazing human & healer. My checkins with her did more than the ketamine which I was ready to stop after a few sessions. It’s a brutal drug with nasty side effects that take more than 24 hours to recover from unlike the presentation claiming you can even go to work within hours after finishing a session. There was ZERO support besides her. No group sessions like they claim on the website. No health consultant sessions also advertised. False advertising has legal penalties. The coordinators kept saying “Don’t you love the app? It’s so PRETTY.” I didn’t care about a pretty app. The music choices and meditations were terrible. Not interested in extra bells & whistles. The Klara app was great & much easier to use especially visually. I also agreed to provide feedback after every 4th session in the original contract. I never signed a new contract nor was I told I would change companies after the first few sessions. I was told I agreed to provide feedback after every session. I know what gaslighting is and the coordinator engaged that tactic repeatedly even when I showed the original emails & communication. The feedback forms had bad formatting on all devices. I couldn’t see the questions entirely in frames but they made no sense & I asked for help to understand verbiage such “did you perceive what’s really real?” It seemed that either an AI or insane person wrote the questions which had nothing to do with progress in the treatments. I asked numerous times to set up the health consultation & group sessions part of the program. It caused so much stress and anxiety to be abandoned by the coordinator after first medical check in because I asked repeatedly for technical support help accessing the app which has never worked right on iPhone, iPad or android. I purchased Apple devices when Android didn’t have the app back in June which was an additional expense. Had to continue using the web portal which is gone now so there is no way to reach them. They pretended they didn’t understand what I was asking for and kept changing coordinator when I did ask. I never received the final shipment. FedEx actually handed a shipment to my child when I wasn’t home to receive (instead of keeping it for delivery at FedEx as I requested) & I reported this which of course Nuelife said “can’t do anything about FedEx” Fortunately he’s trustworthy and knew not to open or touch the package but that’s a dangerous situation. There were so many problems that participating in this program retraumatized me & the expenses need to be refunded however there is no one to discuss this with as the website claims. This company is a fraud and scam and I hope the FDA or whoever is monitoring authority shuts them down because they’re taking advantage of vulnerable individuals for profit. The pictures of the gala held to acquire funding posted all over Facebook profiles with drugged up people felt like an egregious violation of our souls. You’re truly horrible people minus Jasmine & Jeralyn. I don’t have time for a lawsuit but I hope it happens so no other people are harmed. Show more

The app is a great compliment to the NueLife program. The integration of music and the interface is easy to use. You can use stand alone or during your experience and I found that iWatch integration was also an added benefit, as it logs my mindfulness mins automatically and syncs data. Lastly it’s so easy to communicate and I your support team via the app and I get email/text notifications when I have a new message so I never miss one! Show more

I’m in the early stages of my treatment with this company. So far I appreciate the process and support available. Compared to other ketamine treatments I have done nue.life’s pricing is outstandingly reasonable. I have a major complaint about the app. When you click the icon, before the login the first visual is an attractive, thin, young girl wearing a small bare-midriff top, stretching and smiling in a sunlit patch of flowers. Perhaps it’s supposed to give the impression of a contented person, newly feeling better. For a severely depressed, often suicidal, eating disordered, self-hating person, all I see is a picture of everything I despise myself for not being. It’s a trigger to say the least and not one I want to see multiple times a day. The web portal experience is not the same as the app so, for me, not a good alternative. I have complained and been told the company takes such things very seriously. I hope the app designers do something about this issue. Show more

Nue Life hasn’t worked out the kinks in Georgia yet. I’m missing a lot of the key supports because they are not available. I think it’s probably contributing a lot to my lack of improvement with the ketamine. They talk a good game but they cost a fortune and provide almost no non-drug support. I’ve repeatedly asked for help accessing those resources that they talked about during the sales pitch, but they simply don’t have them or haven’t followed up with me. Show more

This company is not a good value. They are 2x the price of other companies and prescribe much lower doses. I had a consult with the doctor and they made me feel like wanting a profound experience was somehow bad. I have used other companies before this and had a wonderful experience. Stay away and use Mindbloom instead. Or any other company for that matter. Don’t waste your hard earned money and time. They just want your money and not actually help. Show more

I was hopeful this nue life app would accompany and supplement my treatment but it just adds to my anxiety and frustration. The practitioners insist I use the app to track my progress but it’s totally useless. It’ll be an excellent program when the problems are fixed but until then, it’s nothing. Show more
