    No good songs
The included songs are all horrible. Not even a single good one. If I’ve checked the songs first, I wouldn’t have purchased casio, instead would have gone for yamaha.

    Very good, very few errors
This app is very helpful if you are looking to learn a song by importing a midi file into a program like this. I connect it to my keyboard by a lightning-to-USB adapter, which the USB is then connected to a USB to midi adapter. Sometimes there’s a few little errors, but usually it’s fixed just by fully closing and reopening the app. I learned a song from ACNL (9am hourly music) thanks to this app. ? Show more

App is broken - cant open midi file
I follow the instructions using Files app to load the midi file, but when trying to load it, the app says "Can't open this file." Completely useless.

    No introduction.
There was no introduction when I downloaded it and I didn’t know what to do. When I found out, it had some songs on the app that would play with you but most of the songs are just with 3 fingers and the other virtual instruments playing in the background actually play the song. Show more

    Avoid
This app is garbage. It would even be garbage 10 years ago. If you are thinking about purchasing a keyboard and using this as a learning tool, you may want to spare yourself the disappointment. There is absolutely no instruction involved. It is essentially a stripped down Guitar Hero interface. The oncoming notes are extremely difficult to distinguish from one another. The sound of the song completely drowns out the sound of the keyboard, and there are not separate volume controls. Also, it crashes every time I restart a song after adjusting the settings. Show more

    Its a nigthmare
It is a great contradiction, how such a versatile instrument produced by Casio should be subjected to a complicated and unfriendly app, it is absurd that those of us who seek to start this musical adventure had to move to other more intuitive and simple apps. Show more

Great for teaching kids how to play
My son is a 6 year-old piano student who is doing very well, and we stumbled upon an app similar to this, but didn’t know how to use it. Along comes Casio with this app, which for my son is like entering The Matrix of piano study. He loves it, it’s like a game, which means he wants to learn by playing, and that’s half the battle. I could care less if it doesn’t import MIDI files. I don’t need it for that. What I do need it for it does very well, especially with our Casiotone with the light up keys. Awesome. Show more

How to add midi on iOS
The Chordana app seems to have broken in iOS 13 and can not access downloaded MIDI files via mobile safari. What does work is to download the MIDI file on your desktop computer. Open iTunes (yuck, I know) connect your phone (you can turn off sync in preferences if you don't back up your phone to your computer). Now click the mobile icon in the header. On the left under settings is "file sharing" click and a list of apps should appear from your phone. Click "chordana play" and drag and drop midi files here. Works great. Really like the app but needs an update to work with iOS 13. Show more

    Unable to import midi
I guess this is a problem with iOS 13, but I cannot import any midi file. The app works fine otherwise. There are 50 included midi files. I was able to successfully transfer some to my LK-265. Just wish I could download some of my choices into the app... Show more

    Won't import MIDI files
The app was once halfway decent when I downloaded it the first time about a year ago, I had ZERO problems when it came to transferring midi files to the app, and then onto my LK-265, but now it's a completely different story...The app will no longer load imported midi files, no matter how many times I try, and no matter how many different methods I try to use...the outcome is the same, so basically this app is 100% completely useless. The sad thing about this is that the app hasn't improved and/or been upgraded one single bit since it was first released, and you know that the developers have read the reviews attributed to their app, so that goes to tell you how much they care about their customers. I wonder when someone from Casio will finally speak up and do something about this ongoing 2-3 year problem. You’re letting your customers down Casio! Step up and fix the problem. -Dave.B Show more

It will not import Midi files
When you download them and import them, the app opens but nothing is in the midi file. Terrible design.

    so sad
I purchased a Casio LK-265 for my son because of this app. This app does not work on his ipad because it is “too old”. 300$ down the drain as we are not buying another ipad. Show more

    Won’t stay connected
It won’t stay connected with the Casio LK-265. Frustrating experience with this App! It makes the lighted keys become more confusing for my kid than helping her.
