Switches to commercials in the middle of segments. Slow to load. Difficult to use. Avoid if possible

This app constantly crashes, stops playing, gets stuck on commercial blocks, doesn’t return to live radio when re-opening it (after it has crashed for the umpteenth time), isn’t intuitive, just a miserable app. Whether it’s the radio.com or Audacy app, every iteration of this thing has been an unmitigated disaster. App crashes at least 3 times 5 hour period of streaming. It also goes back in time periodically and you have to listen to the same thing you just listened to. Frustrating. But I do like the variety of stations to stream. Show more

Doesn’t play nice with iOS 16. Too many bugs to list. Where do I start. This app is so terrible if you have any other options I would use those other options. This app rarely works and when it does it either skips, stops playing or rewinds without you touching a thing. Stay away from this app. Show more

Obviously the developers of this app don’t use it. If they did, they would have fixed the myriad of problems this app is plagued with. App doesn’t restart after an interruption and on the occasion it does, it comes back at some other place in the program you were listening to or into an ad. Speaking of ads; there are times where after opening the app you are inundated with a countless number of advertisements that seem to never end. Particularly frustrating when you just want to listen to the news at the top or bottom of the hour. Or, as you’re in the middle of listening to a news segment it switches over to another repetitive ad and brings you back to the program at another point. Additionally, the functions do not work as they should when cycling through different segments of a program. There are so many more problems with this app if the developers would just spend some time listening they would be aware and would work to solve them. All of the problems I have experienced have to do with live streaming live radio programs. I wouldn’t even consider using Audacy for podcasts. Show more

I like the Audacy App and it doesn’t work on my I phone 14 Pro. It still works on my 6 plus.

Please bring back the cities and states just like on iHeart and TuneIn to make it easier to locate a station to listen to also wish the genre categories were like iHeart’s Show more

I use the app to get local news, weather and traffic, particularly important in preparation for my long commute. (I listen to a radio station that broadcasts for hundreds of miles in all directions, so the station isn’t the problem.) This app cuts out regularly, and usually during portions of the broadcast I most need to hear. Why?? And is there anything that can be done about it? Show more

Two big things I dislike about this app. 1. It will randomly cut off after listening for so long which requires me to close out and reopen the app. 2. When clicking “live” most times it won’t take you to the live segment, instead it will pick up where you last left off. So, if I close it out for 30 mins and then try to go back to it, I am now stuck listening to things I have already heard. I will be looking for a new way to listen to my favorite station. Show more

If I had any other way to listen to my station, I’d never use this app. Wish it would go back to Tune In. Connectivity is terrible. Won’t stay connected when it finally does. Show more

It is literally non functional for stretches at a time what seems like on a daily basis. Pure garbage.

Awful app that works less than 25% of the time. For a national company the size of Audacy it is ridiculous that the app works so poorly

Be nice if it EVER worked as advertised. Sad my favorite local radio hosts push this garbage app.

When they made a new app I had high hopes that a lesson was learned, for a half a yr I truly felt they had got it right finally with new ways to skip to the segments the user wanted to hear and a better playback. Sadly the product has turned to crap once again with glitchy and unreliable playback ability! Can’t believe other companies can have minimal disruptions, but this company is totally opposite with how consistently awful their product performs. Show more

This is getting old. The app has a very slow response time and crashes constantly. The rewind and live features are cumbersome and rarely work effectively. I need to close out and restart the app constantly. How can this be such a problem in todays tech world. Please fix these issues. Show more

If you like listening to bits and pieces of whatever you are trying to listen to on the radio, then this app is for you. Typically it takes between 5-10 minutes to connect on initial start up and then you can expect the signal to drop about 7 or 8 times each hour. I’ve tried running this app on new phones & new tablets and had zero luck. I primarily use this app late at night on a Wi-Fi network where I am the only user. The signal could not be any stronger if I wanted it to be. Other streaming apps such a as Pandora, Netflix, Hulu..you name it has ZERO problem staying connected. Early on, this app may have been well developed which is why the ratings are so high. Now? There are MUCH BETTER OPTIONS. Save yourself the space in your device and skip this one. Show more

They keep saying how great the rewind feature is but rarely does this ever work well. And this app stops playing randomly when other streaming apps work fine. Do better

After the ridiculous registration process, your app doesn’t work. I either get the omnipresent “retry” page or the pretty multicolor page with your logo. Nada, zip, nothing. Strong WiFi updates all installed. From the exact same spot, I can listen via a web browser so go figure. Show more
