This app used to be great and gladly purchased all addons available. Now this app is worthless. Will not connect to bluetooth. Crashes constantly. I Deleted re-installed, did all the FAQ help section said and still no good. Re-installed app, nothing helped. I have looked everywhere for a remedy but now today the delete button must end it all. Was a nice ride while it worked though. Show more

Unfortunately the audio does not work

It was good -not great- before but then, here comes the updates. Before when o wanted to exit the app all I had to do was just press the home button in my phone and that was it. Now, with the last update I tried to do the same and the app stayed on working in the background, returned to the app and looked for the “exit” button and NOTHING! Look and look and look for it…….nothing!! Now I only have two options, switch to another app or another thing while the app is in the background consuming my battery and my memory or I have to turn off my phone and turn it on again. That really is annoying for me. ??? Show more

I downloaded the new iOS and Bluetooth isn’t working

I’ve had this app since it’s inception, many iPhones many updates and it’s still easy, and high quality even syncs with iCloud. My only issue is that the developers of the app haven’t expanded to macOS! This app needs to run on a Mac to give it 6 stars. Please make a macOS version Show more

Could definitely use a way to change the key of the instrument, if there isn’t one already.

Hello. My son loves using this app, and he doesn’t stop using it. He creates songs on it, he records stuff, etc.. Anyways, a few years ago, he noticed that when he tried to import music from the Music Library option in the Audio area, in the latest versions, it crashed. Could you please fix this so he can import music from the Music Library folder anytime, without it crashing? Thank you, and have a good rest of your week. Show more

If you don’t know what a mandolin is it is a 8 stringed instrument.

It asks you to sign in to soundcloud, and when you do it closes the page and takes you back to the app. No upload.

This app crashes, runs out of cpu, etc. Garageband works better.

Just got this today. Instruments are nice. Editing notes in the piano roll is pretty ridiculous but maybe I haven’t figured it out yet that’s not my issue. The problem is every time I try and save a sample the app crashes and I’m not following the 50 step process described on the website to get a crash report. The app seems like it could be really great but not if it crashes all the time and not if I have to jump through hoops to report a problem or get help. I’m not trying to be one of those people that writes some review bashing everything about your app like I said I have high hopes for it just wish it wouldn’t crash every time I save a sample it’s pretty annoying Show more

This is a big piece of crap! It can’t even perform the simplest of application tasks without crashing more than a crash test dummy at the Ford plant!

I love this app and have been using it for 6 years now, I have built myself from the ground up through this app. I recently have had the problem that my audio files that I upload into the app say “an error occurred while loading file” every time I try to put it in the track. I don’t want this to be the reason I stop using it, I even deleted a lot of hard progress I made on the app to see if that would fix it and the problem still happens. Please fix the app, I can’t import a song from my music library. Every time I try importing a song from my music library the app restarts.

I have been using music studio for ages, it is my main tool for writing my songs, and its not electronic music, or even beats, i write heavy metal music with it. I REALLY WOULD LOVE IF YOU COULD ADD THE FEATURE OF CREATING FOLDERS, SO WE COULD ORGANIZING OUR FILES, IVE GOT HUNDREDS OF FILES, ITS BECOMING A MESS, I NEED TO ORGANIZE THEM. Show more

This is very good for apple. But why not put the things you have for apple into androids as well though? It put a lot of limits on android and they pay for everything. When I used my android I was like “oh this nice.” But when I first used my iPhone to use this, I was like “oh wow.” Other than that I love this thing. Show more

Alexander Gross has put together a comprehensive and fun way to work with midi. For me, this is easier and more fun / better user experience / better interface to the music and instruments than Garage Band. The samples and sounds of each instrument are pretty good quality. I tinkered with and updated midi from my favorite old games to hear closer to symphonic experience. Transposing Cybermage: Darklight Awakening’s track 18 from the midi I remember in 1995 to these violins and cellos, piano and drum sets gave me chills. Hopefully the update makes this usable on current iOS. I would recommend for beginners wanting to edit and tinker with existing midi to ultimately learn more about music harmony and composition and appreciate the medium. Show more
