Does random intervals both up and down to train your ear for identifying them.

Basically i really like it. BUT, omg the extra clicks needed! Since the message telling u if you were right/wrong makes you dismiss it.... the next interval should AUTO PLAY, so the user doesn’t have to click again. So many clicks gets tedious. And dismissing the message can be seen as hitting the play button, since effectively it is a pause. Keep the replay button, though, that’s nice. Just make the intervals autoplay. This app is great for becoming more familiar with intervals, which is one of the most valuable skills for anyone leaning music. It is fun to play and satisfying to master. I always choose this over some mobile game when I have nothing to do but a phone and access to sound, as it is just as enjoyable as a game if you are into music. Even if you just want to mess around with the keyboard, this app is perfect and enjoyable for any wannabe musician and I highly recommend it. My only complaint is that you cannot set it to play every interval from the same tonic, since it can be hard to get your eat to switch between keys so frequently. Show more

It does a really good job at what it does, but it would be nice if it had some more customizeable features, like being able to play the notes at the same time. Show more

I can see the improvement I made just exercising with this app.

Who could complain?

I’m trying not to get my frustration with learning to recognize intervals confused with the effectiveness of the app. It’s a very good learning tool!

I feel obliged to write a review because it serves the purpose really well, although user interface could be improved. Also, it’d be nice if there is an option to disable unison among all the intervals because it’s so annoying. Show more

Great app. Simple, easy to use, and has everything you need.

I have (let's put it kindly) a shaky sense of pitch. I loaded this app on my phone earlier this week and have played roughly a thousand reps since then. I went from a little over 50% accuracy at the outset to a cumulative score of app. 65% during that time (I'm not sure if you can rest the counter to score individual sessions). This morning, I loaded the app on my iPad and played 100 reps for a score of 87%. I don't know how happy that would make you, but this was a complete home run for me. If I can make this improvement, anyone can. As highly recommended as any app I've used. Show more

It should have an option that turns off highlighting the first note

This app will challenge your skill sets masterfully! I did not realize how much I've forgotten - no worries, this app is teaching the clarity I want! Strongly recommend for those in need of a good brush- up! Show more

Very ez and good.

It's a nifty app. It tells you what the interval is when you put your response. It is a helpful way to learn how intervals sound like in the key of C. If you want more keys and options, you will need to upgrade. Show more

Exactly what you expect from it. Good interval practice and musical ear training. I recommend moving around the keys a lot so you don't get too comfortable in one spot!
