    It’s gotten worse
It hisses, the Tracks play too fast in the normal mode, it was barely passable a few years ago but now not usable. The only thing I sunk money into was iRig and that broke with a few months of ownership. Show more

Have used for years. No problem then……
I installed an update on my Iphone, and then the metronome on my AmpliTube would not work anymore. The scroll disappeared. Also the playback through phone speaker is muddy and distorted. Still sounds fine through Irig. Very disappointed and confused. Any help out there? Show more

Does this work in iOS 16?
Running through an iRig2 and the input setting is stuck reading Built In Mic and I’m getting no audio. Fix this!

    This app has gone downhill
I am a long time user of this app and found it to be the best guitar amp app for me. I got this app when I was 13 (I’m 23 now so 10 years) so I could play my guitar without bothering anyone else. I think I paid $20-$30 for this app too so I really hoped it worked great. Sure enough, it was a godsend and I loved just how simple the app was while having many options for tones. But recently, when I open the app, I get this strange intense buzzing or popping sound which makes it impossible to play my guitar. It even makes these noises even when the guitar is not playing. I’ve tried to delete the app and redownload it and try other apps like BIAS and GarageBand to see if it was the iRig adapter (it wasn’t). The problem lies within this app. I have also noticed that the developers do not update this app regularly which makes it frustrating when I update to a new iOS and the app crashes on the new firmware. Until the developers can figure out a more regular update schedule and fix the problem that I have with the app, I think I will be usin Show more

    Problems after iOS 16 update
This, overall, is a fantastic app. I have purchased a few of the bundles, and the sounds are very good. Would I say this is professional software? Maybe not, but it is incredibly good for demos. I live in Nashville and a lot of my friends work in the business, and I play demos I recorded on this for them for fun, and they are always impressed. but please… this software no longer plays back music after the last iOS update. Please fix ASAP! I will increase my rating and that happens. Show more

    I LOVE this app
This app should really be at like 4.5 average stars. Not sure what issues the others have. I’ve used this for probably 7 years now, and love it. I use with iRig I/O or iRig HD 2. I have made some amazing tones, which I record to garage band via inter-app connection. Update a few years later: This app should be 5 stars. All those griping about in app purchases I don’t know what to say. If you used the app as much as I have you would have paid a tiny tiny fraction of what the total cost is now, anyways. The important thing is that I could get the most amazing metal tones with just a few of the features, so no, you don’t need all the pedals. Great app- I love it. Show more

    Scammers app
This app Not even worthy for one star, costumer service 0 rating, I bought couples of this apps I can’t open anymore, looking for help and can’t find good way to contact them, and all the add on is gone , they just want to grab our hard labored money, but sorry! I’m mad of your business style Show more

    Greedy
I bought the app and 4 different amp brands for $100. One of those were Jimi Hendrix. And when I go to the stomp pedals I have to pay for the wah. It’s Jimi Hendrix, how cheap can you be?? How is that not included. Like so many before me I’m going to switch over to just a portable mini amp. Show more

    Update fix
Thanks for fixing so fast after iOS update.

A week after iOS15 release still no fix for crash
Completely unacceptable for a product I’ve spent a few hundreds bucks as in-app purchases to be crashing on a new public version of iOS a week after its release - just a total lack of respect for your paying users. No apologies, no hotfix, no hint when app would become functional again Show more

    Not ready for iOS 15
It’s frankly unacceptable that IK was not prepared to have their apps ready to go for the new Apple update on the day of launch. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on bundles and hardware and can’t use it. Show more

    This app drains iPhone battery
Title says it all. I love this app but even when not using it, just having it installed drains my battery pretty quickly. So I uninstalled it and all went back to normal. I have an iPhone 10s running latest OS. Same thing used to happen when I had an iPhone 6s. Not sure why this is happening. Something is definitely running in the background at all times. Show more

    Only outputs mono signal
I got this specifically to use the Satriani collection and the Rockman X100 amp model. But AmpliTube only outputs a mono signal, whether through the headphone jack or the interface connected via Lightning, which completely defeats the point. This is a colossal oversight. Show more

    Low quality and expensive
I don’t have time to write up a detailed review but the quality of this product is subpar

Hiway iap rip off / theft
I had to reinstall the app and every time I try to restore my in app purchases , which is hundreds of dollars, I keeps getting a message saying it can’t connect to the App Store , but when I delete and reinstall other apps and restore in app purchases there’s no problem connecting and restoring. I literally feel like ik multimedia stole from me. Show more

    Love and Perfect
I’ve not had a more perfect rig in my life. (For me) Amplitube iOS works exactly as advertised. But it wasn’t until I started using Amplitube iOS with IK Multimedia’s iRig Stomp I/O that things really took off. ANY and ALL reservations about Amplitube iOS have been erased since using it LIVE. I had a few concerns about latency — which is MUCH LOWER than every other iOS amp modeler — which were COMPLETELY ERASED using it a gigs and rehearsals. Also, having the option to turn amp cabs on or off gives me huge flexibility in shaping the final sound. I run Amplitube iOS on a 6th generation iPad through a couple Tech21 Power Engine 60s. This is the first time in almost 40 years of playing, that I’ve been 100% happy with my sound. Re-amping is a joy. My recordings are sounding dope. Everything else in my life might be turning to sh%#... but my guitar tone and rig are that bucket of gold at the end of the rainbow. I’ve finally caught the leprechaun!!!! Thanks IK!! Show more

Audio Demo tunes no longer audible?
Is it just me but did this latest update bug the Audio Demo function? I no longer can audition the audio demo tunes. I am running 10.3.3 on iPhone6plus and i won't get any audible sound from the demo loops anymore. Show more

    Okay, but disappointed w/ ecosystem
Another person switching to jamup pro here. It was nice to get started with iRig—the interface was ~$30-$40, & there’s a free version of the app. I had my gripes with in app purchases constantly (& even after getting paid version) but ok. I got an iPad and found that it’s a separate thing entirely and no in-app purchases carry over... okay, annoying, but okay—I guess (there are technical explanations/reasons for this). I look into getting some manner of controller to actually be able to use the effects while playing with others (without stopping to tap on my device with the hands I’m using to play guitar)... and it’s another $100+ ... when there are cheap controllers that work for jamup for ~$20... and jamup pro is only $12 and is the same on iPad and iPhone. Unless jamup is a total disaster later on for some reason I haven’t found yet (seems to work about the same as amplitube if not a little more intuitive) I don’t think I’ll be back to the iRig ecosystem. Why not just make the interface a little more expensive and sell a version of the app that is actually all inclusive and doesn’t pester users with in-app purchases IK?? That’s what I wanted in the first place. I guess they’re making money and maybe their gear is really good, I’m not sure—I’m just not ready throw in with a company that seems to be out to nickel and dime us... Show more
