This is an excellent app! I don’t have to bring my hymnal to church and I also use it to sing along with during family devotions.

Not fully compatible with the new iPad pro. Old design and the app hasn't been updated in two years.

This application is a lifesaver for me. I can just bring my tablet and I have everything I need. However it would be so much more valuable if it had an option to transpose the hymns when I need to play for someone with an instrument in a different key or someone who plays by ear. Show more

I love the app it is really convenient considering I am pianist however the app crashes every time I put three numbers into the search menu. At first I thought it was just my device so I resented my iPad but that wasn’t the case. Show more

11/2/19 Update: none of the issues below were addressed. Now the app crashes upon opening it every single time. Please fix! I paid for this app and would like to continue getting my money’s worth. ———— The older app used to keep the previous setting, ie if I chose to view “lyrics only” that’s how the app would open after being closed and restarted. Now it automatically reboots to default settings with instruction page EVERY TIME the app is opened. Also this new version WIPED all my previously saved bookmarks. Not loving it. Show more

This app was great until the recent update on IOS 13. It crashes every time when a direct number of three digits is inputted. This is a serious problem because I use it to play in church. Please address this problem as soon as possible. Thank you creating a great app. Show more

This app is now working again under iPad iOS 13.2

Had the old version, spent $7.99 on this one hoping would not have the problem and it is broken too. I wish I can get a credit

This app is GREAT for use with iOS devices running iOS 12 or below. But it desperately needs updating to work properly with iOS 13. Under this latest operating system, this app crashes every time a direct hymn page number is input. You can still use either the alphabetical or numerical index to get to your desired hymn, but it takes much longer than the direct page number input. By the time you use the index to find the song title or number you are looking for, you’ve already missed out on singing the first verse with the congregation. Please, let’s get this fixed. Would also appreciate the addition of the historical dates and names listed at the top of each song in the actual SDA Hymnal as it adds some important context for many users, myself included. This app used to be a 4. It wasn’t a 5 star because there are some errors in lyrics and playback. But now it crashes (after iPad OS update) when you put in hymn numbers directly. You can work around it by using the number drop down menu. But this is not good when you are actually in the middle of playing. Show more

This is a very good SDA hymnal love the option of either piano or organ and to actually adjust the speed of the songs. As a church musician it’s easy to find the songs, and to have the musical score without flipping through the hymn book. It was worth the price good job. Hope that you can do an update with a few of the old hymns if possible. Show more

I find this app very useful. I am able to use the annotations to add chords above the melody line for chording instruments to use during the church service. I did find, however, that if I try to share a song, the annotations disappear, and I don’t know how to get them back other than starting from scratch. I’d like to be able to share with annotations if that is possible. Show more

I love that they added folders for sorting. But it would be helpful if we could edit the title of the folders. Additionally, it would be great if we could select more than one song at a time and move it to a folder. Also, no composer or lyric credit is given–which means I need to do extra work if I want to find that info. Show more

I bought this to replace a previous hymnal which was great. However that product is no longer supported so lost almost all music to the songs. It had intro to each song. But just like that one quite a few songs are missing. Show more

I was thrilled to get this app, but I was disappointed that not all of the hymns could be played & I hated the organ - that vibrato! But each update has brought some GREAT improvements, like the ability to vary the speed of the playback. Brilliant! You can keep several lists of bookmarked hymns, each hymn is played with an introduction, & each is repeated so you can sing all the verses without having to restart the playback. I don't have access to my piano, so this app fills a real need. It adds a great deal to my daily worship time. I recommend this app; it was money well spent for me. Show more
