    Issue
Hi, this app is great, I have been using it since it came out. There’s an issue with the new version, when I make a new playlist, and I try to add charts into them, the app closes randomly. Could you please fix it? I use the option so much. thanks, much love! Show more

Great app for lead sheets; Dropbox fix info included below
I have used this app for a few years. It takes a little getting used to, but it works perfectly for what I need. Progressions works great as a place to write and recall simple text lead sheets. The other apps are far more complicated, and are more difficult to use compared to Progressions. But this is considering I am looking for a simple solution for jazz and rock song chord charts. I can easily cut and paste text files from any source, format them to look good on the screen, and then store them in Progressions. 2 'gotchas': 1. Be careful, though, as Progressions will not transpose chords in the chart if they are adjacent to other characters such as - or ~. It does recognize # and m as being musical, and it transposes chords next to these characters fine. 2. Backing up to Drobbox: All songs MUST be part of a 'set' to be backed up. The first time I noticed this is when I created charts on one device, backed them up, then tried to download the backup onto another iDevice. I simpley created an 'all charts set' and make sure new charts are part of this 'set' and have had no problems ever since. My only real complaint is Progressions is not compatible with bluetooth page turners. Hopefully that is coming soon. Dropbox Fix: If you have problems linking Progressions to Dropbox, check to see if you have the Dropbox app installed on your iDevice. The program calls the app rather than a direct connection to Dropbox, which is what it needs. There is no error message or any indication that the connection has not been made. If you delete the Dropbox app and then try linking Progressions, you will get a dialog that askes for the Dropbox user id and password. Once that happens, you will be connected. I had this problem recently (Mar 2017) and the above fix worked. I have also had problems with another device seeing the most recent backup or chart that I created on another device, as if the Dropbox connection needed to be 'refreshed'. Removing the Dropbox app corrected this as well. Enjoy! Show more

    Excellent!
I just wanted to say thank you. This app is really great. I am a performing musician that uses this app extensively and have grown to depend on it and love it. It's easy, just cut and paste your text (lyrics) into it to make a chart. I put my chords in parenthesis and it recognizes the letters as chords...and it allows you to switch keys of a song/chart at the touch of a button. You can arrange your songs into sets. Please continue to develop and perhaps just add a screen lock function to prevent sideways swiping to the next chart. Cheers ! Show more

Like but can we get a Numbers option
I like this app and it ability to easily switch from key to key, but would you all consider putting in an option to view the some with the number system, would be more convenient than have to manually switch and scroll to get a specific key!!! Great app otherwise!!!! Show more

    Perfect! Almost
I love this app. When my friend showed it to me I knew I had to get it. It's an awesome easy way to have a personal database of songs that keeps itself neat and transposes when u need it to. I wish it had columns available. Especially on the mini it's kind of hard to have to zoom out so much to see the whole song. Show more

    Keep going with this app!
Please keep going with this app! I feel I've stumbled onto something brilliant when I've found this, exactly what I was looking for! One gripe, when exporting a song with a longish title, it gets cut off midway as opposed to going onto. Second line. Improve iCloud and syncing. Keep updating! Been 7 months now... Show more

    Sleek!
Really comes in handy on worship. I don't have to worry on song transitions. Make a straight E line-ups transposing with no ease. I also have UG app but I find this easier to use especially on the rush. Transposing on UG app needs Internet connection and this doesn't. I copy/paste the songs from the UG app then put it here. (would be awesome if you can put a browser-like song finder) Some bugs I found though: I can't edit the Key signature on "edit" (iTouch 4g) The whole thing disappears sometimes leaving just the background Looking forward for some update and Suggestions below are all good. Two thumbs up! Show more

Good app, would love to see continued development
This is a useful app with some good features. I love the flexibility of the plain text format, but I think rich text support would be great (for colors, font styles, etc.). Additional built-in fields to describe songs may also be helpful, such as time signature, tempo, etc. Lastly, a way to handle particularly long arrangements would be great, by having automated scrolling or page turning. Good job! Looking forward to updates! Show more

    Just what I needed!
I have to thanks the dev for making this great app! It really helped me a lot. I just needed this one thing. Something to write the lyrics and the chords with the option of changing the scales on the spot. The only difficulty I found so far is that most of my songs are written in simple text, so when I paste them here, the chords don't fall exactly where they are suppose to fall in. Please, add the option to have simple text. Show more

    Simply Sublime!
Daniel, This isn't the fanciest app on the planet and it's certainly not earth-shattering. However, it really addresses a need and so easily. I am using this to enter my own music that I write in order to play it for my children. Last weekend I had to grab a stack of paper with different scribblings on them. When the family comes over for thanksgiving this week, I'll be reading the lyrics and chords from my iPad. NICE! If anyone has trouble singing along, I'll be able to offer a different key on the fly. How cool is that?!?! Once suggestion…is it possible to make the chords a different color from the lyrics? It would be nice to choose some options for each. Other than that, this is PERFECT! Thank you!!! Show more

    Crashes!
It crashes like hell on my iPad. Barely usable. I think just using a notepad would be more useful. Only advantage is the transpose function wich is also buggy (if a line of the lyrics starts with A it will think that's an A chord). I want my money back :( Show more

    not fully getting it...
For some reason, no matter what computer I use, I cant access the support pages. Id like to know why my set lists arent saving. Id like to be able to save many different set lists, just like play lists in iTunes. And fix your spelling in your description!! "organize" :D Show more
