After downloading this app I was excited to have wireless remote control from the other side of the room. But due to the limitations of not having the whole Virtual DJ software on your phone I can understand why some people wouldn’t like it. However I still use it as it allows me to have a different approach to DJ’in. For the developers, don’t give up! If anything you could change at least allow the crossfading and ease of syncing songs with each other. With those features I would be good to go. Show more

I had such high hopes for this app. I’m sad/mad to say that this app doesn’t work! I tried to connect to my laptop version and after many, MANY attempts, I finally gave up. I tried to contact customer support but it only redirected me back to the main website. I regret that I got ZERO usage out of this app. Show more

I downloaded and payed for the app to use with my computer when I have to step away, it won’t sync up. This is a waste of time and money. I demand a refund. To others, don’t waste your time or money on this app. Show more

It blanks out after a few minutes of use - I USED to like this app but it’s obvious that the OP DOESNT UPDATE this app

this application never connected with my PC to control the virtual dj it didn't work

I would like to see an update for the remote. Keeps freezing, needs a new look, maybe some other options the program has to work well with the computer.

This app is or rather, WAS amazing when it first launched. However, it has been neglected over the years by the developers & is slowly becoming obsolete with the latest version of iPad OS as of writing this (15.1). Waveforms fail to appear at times, & the default skin looks dated on newer model iPads & the library view leaves a lot to be desired. I’m giving it a 3 star review because the functionality of the app is wonderful & is still very rock solid in stability. I also see the potential of this app as well if the dev team would just give it the love & care it deserves. If there is a massive overhaul I will come back & update my review here. Show more

Remote reverts to old remote and is not compatible with vdj 2021

Dosent connect to my computer at all I’ve tired everything, makes no sense I would like a refund

Great for walking around to tweak sound and conduct reception events, BUTT; It is hard to get connected and crashes too often.

I am an amateur in music mixing. I do Noy work professionally with music, and based on that I downloaded VirtualDJ, and foolishly I followed the advertisement to purchase VirtualDJ Remote. After downloading and purchasing—I find that because I have a RODECASTER PRO in my setup, VirtualDJ makes the arbitrary decision that I am a professional DJ and as such, boldly announces the free version of VirtualDJ will not work. So all you true armatures out there DO NOT purchase this and think it will work with VirtualDJ. Because if you have anything that VDJ thinks is pro-gear, you will be blocked. Advice to developers—tell us what YOU YHINK qualifies as an amateur or a Professional, and save us the PIA of having to find out the hard way. Show more
