5 years ago I gave this app 5 stars. Now I’d give it zero, if I could. It doesn’t work at all on my iPad. The images are seen against a jagged black background, and the logo for the opening are mostly off the screen to the left. All I see are the letters “ose". What a shame. Show more

No direction, no choosing your colors, deleted

The screen shots don't give due credit to the amazing effects and versatility of this visual app. Beautiful swirling colors and patterns...and I haven't even learned how to use the controls yet! Highly recommend! Show more

This is a fantastic app. I discovered running the iphone app on ipad works the best. The ipad version seems to have a few bugs. Hope they will fix them. :)

Prettiest trip I've taken in a very long time. But it very often crashes my iPad. The screen goes deep blue and freezes... Requires a hard reboot which takes an unnaturally long time, both shutdown and getting back to lock screen. I'm not risking it anymore until an update. Show more

Kind of a silly little timewaster. It's fun for a short while, but I don't think it's worth $4.99 (as of this writing). I am glad I got it for free one day. Show more

This app is fun and a good addition to my pixel and other similar apps. However, I would never pay $5 for this app. I does nothing that similar, lower priced apps do and often do better. There is not even a menu to change any of the action or look of the app. So, thanks for the free app. It is beautiful. But, not worth $5. Show more

There is just nothing else quite like this app, and I love it. It projects full screen visuals in vivid colors, and I can dance with it! The visuals are hypnotic and trancy and they can be fast or slow to taste with a tilt or a roll of the iPad. It relaxes my mind and stimulates my brain at the same time. Show more

I used to enjoy Alchemist Rose as a screensaver until they implemented variable speeds via accelerometer a few updates ago. This setting alters the design's spin according to the angle you tilt the iPad, but this is only functional when you're holding the iPad in your hands. You can turn off the variable speed and choose the "always fast" setting but this completely ruins the relaxing nature of the app. Unfortunately, neither setting works well as a screensaver. This app used to create mesmerizing 3-dimensional designs (as portrayed in the screenshots) but now the designs look blurry and uninteresting in comparison. I really miss using this app and I keep hoping for an update that brings back the beauty and functionality of the old version. Show more

Happy new year to me!!! I wanted this app but was hesitant to spend $5. I was lucky enough to see that it was free yesterday and today and grabbed it. It is so AWESOME! There are so many ways to manipulate the visuals that you will find yourself playing for an hour without even knowing you've been so engrossed in playing for that long! Now that I've used it, I would gladly pay for it. Is so worth it! Read the description for instructions and also, check your app settings to change prefs. Show more
