    Bass FBA
I am a new bassist if it wasn’t for Bass FBA i believe that the progress i have made learning the bass fret would have been hampered thank you for such a great product Show more

    Very Good!
Very very helpful! The best app of its kind that I can find thus far. My only negative issue is the view of the neck vertically, the guitar is not viewed from that angle when actually playing, so please please please change the view to horizontal on the app...please? Show more

    More in app purchases
Paid for the app on whim. Not finding it very helpful so far. Then using it I find that not all features are included. I probably could have gotten away for less with flash cards. Show more

    Got charged twice
Tried to purchase pro version from in app, bit it didn't seem to work and froze. So I went to the App Store and bought it. However, there were then 2 barges on my credit card and the in app purchase isn't available for refund. Show more

    DOESN'T WORK
Sound and other functions don't work. Contacted support 3 times with no response. SAVE YOUR MONEY! This is a great idea- if it worked.

    Great learning tool
I love this app, it's really helped me learn the upper frets of the upper strings, which I just always knew by association to the lower frets. Also, it's helped me learn the bass clef, since I learned to read music for flute, I had only learned to read G clef. The one thing I hope the app developer changes is the perspective of looking down the neck. It would be so much more useful and applicable for a guitar/bass player if the neck went side to side, like you would actually see it when you're playing. Who ever looks down the neck? It's an irrelevant point of view, and it requires my brain to translate an extra step. Other than that, this app is the bomb! Show more

    Agree with "does not work"
Unfortunately I have to agree with "does not work" - and I even paid the $4.99 instead of getting the free version. The strings make no sound, no features work and I got the same notes endlessly. And continually asking me to pay for an upgrade? When I already paid more for this app than most of my others combined. Why pay extra for even more of something that does not work? And I really could have used this app... Show more

    Great APP!
    Awesome tool for memorization

    Does not work
Waste of $ no help or instructions and strings do not register strikes - It just sits there. Regret $ 4.99 spent, not worth it. Also constantly wants to sell you more pods when the download doesn't work to begin with. Show more

    Pretty Good
I admit I use the solo feature mostly, but this is definitely helpful in learning the bass fretboard. And I like the sound, though you have to use headphones to hear it. Suggestions for improvement: When in the solo mode, you should be able to play along to songs. It'd be awesome if there were more frets (you can scroll, one by one, down the fretboard with 12 frets shown at once). I saw in another app, that you actually hold a fret and pick the string, that is a good idea to me, so it's more like playing a real bass, the of course you wouldn't be able to see as many frets since they would have to be big enough for you to put a finger on, but if scrolling is easy that would be no problem. And if you could choose from real basses, like Fender's Jazz and Precision, a Rickenbacker, maybe Warwick (Adam Clayton Signature) or (my personal favourite) a Les Paul Signature, that would be cool. You could make another app with these features, instead of adding to this one, I'd probably buy it, for no more than $5. Show more

    My opinion on this app.
I like this app its great for beginners. I chose this app because I toy around with a bass from time to time. What I don't like about this app is its not a full app. I paid I think $4.99 for the app and after useing it a few times a box pops up asking me to buy more stuff for the app. I mean can see an in app purchase if you were running out of features in the app but when you only finish learning part of one chord. Sounds a little greedy. Eventhough the developer seems to be greedy on how little you can do with a $5 purchase I still give this app 5 stars. Show more

Chords feature is OK, but overpriced
The newly-added chords feature works well enough, but it costs as much as the app itself, which is ridiculous. Also, good luck getting your enharmonic setting to stick: set it to display flats instead of sharps, and the display chronically reverts back to sharps. For what winds up being a $10 app, we deserve better attention to detail. And where's support for five-string basses? They're pretty common at this point. Show more
