the Mac Whispering Radio App is a bit buggy at times. I love the music for work concentration and weekend relaxation, very high qulality Piano clasic and modern song interpretations. Today, have sent another Email to support for the MacOS not playing my PURE Stream, only Free Stream. Support has veen very responsive in the past. Show more

Lyrical piano music 24 hours per day gets me in state for whatever I need to focus on. I love it as background music when studying or to relax. It gets my creative juices flowing from a calm coherent perspective, pure magic! Can't live without it. Show more

HUGE Thanks to Ken at Emphatek, he was able to confirm my bug find and apply a fix. And get this... the SAME day I submitted the bug!!! Now, THAT is FAST! The update should come soon depending on how fast Apple decides to push it to the App Store. As promised, I have changed my review to FIVE stars as Ken earned each and every star!!! --- I adore Whisperings. It really DOES quiet my head. The app is used and enjoyed every single day. Though I do have to report one big bug... my choices do not save and revert back to defaults each time I restart the app. I would LOVE to stream only Christmas music but I'll be damned if the app will let me. This problem started with the installation of macOS Catalina. So, maybe y'all should start there to figure out the cause. Once the app is fixed, I will change my star rating to five stars because it has always been a five star app... up until now. Show more

Very happy with the Whisperings service, I subscribe to PureStream and use it quite often. The app is basic, with few frills, but it gets the job done. One pet peeve (not serious enough to warrant losing a star) is that they play my favorite songs too often. Seems like I hear them once a day or more, which is too much for my taste and I usually skip forward. Thanks! Show more

I love listening to Whisperings - the app doesn’t work perfectly with my apple air plug and plays but it does run on all devices. Just just recently they also released an html site that allows you to log on to your account straight through the internet. This way you can also listen at work through the firewalls, etc. Show more

App displays current track in status bar so no need to see the interface. With a PureStream account (separate purchase) I can save my favorite artists and tracks, which causes the server to play them more often. Contains sleep and wake timers. Easy interface design. Love Whisperings solo piano music and listen all day! Recommend! Show more

For three or four years now I have had and used the Whisperings app. I think it is simply great. It is soothing, great music, harmonious, relaxing and a great background music when you work. Even better when you sit and listen to the music. PS. There is another fan in our family. Our cat Seboo. He just loves it! Show more

I listen to this full-time…it ROCKS! Gave up using the Broswer becasue of all the features, better stability, and the best part was I kept closing it out when I closed a broswer window. FANTASTIC music…we need a solo piano station on XM! Show more

I use this app to provide focus for my mind. In the coffee shop, in the office where everyone is on top of each other, at home and not able to focus, I get the piano music going and I’m able to move forward. If by chance a particular album isn’t working for me in the moment, I just click to the next. Worth every penny of the subscription. Thank you! Show more

I love having direct access to Whisperings through this app, but I still occasionally get a message interrupting the music. I can usually fix it by quitting the app and signing back on. But it would be nice if this bug would go away. Show more

I already own the mobile version of this app which does support AirPlay output and I’m very pleased with. I just purchased this version for my Macbook Air and discovered it can only play through the laptop speakers. Looks like I’ll be using my iPad instead of my Mac until this essential feature is added. I've been listening to Whisperings Solo Piano Radio for some time now and was happy to find this app. The album cover, artist name and song title appear in the status bar so I can always see what is playing. I can also click on that area in the status bar and pop up the app, which then gives me more features such as a button to go to the artist's home page so I can learn more about him/her. And if I like the song or album I can click a button that opens iTunes and let's me see other songs and albums from this artist. Since my computer is in my bedroom I can set the app's timer to fade the music off when I want it to shutdown. I've recommended it to all my friends who like piano music! BTW, there is a free channel that plays great solo piano music but if you want to listen to the commercial free channel (aka PureStream) then you have to purchase a subcription at the Whisperings Solo Piano Radio website.
