Great metronome with important features. Only complaint is that on iPhone while the metronome is running, the phone doesn’t recognize it as active and the screen turns off. I can’t see it throughout a practice run and have to re-unlock my phone to look at it again. Show more

I have had this for a few years now and it’s my favorite metronome app and I use it often. Excellent!

Please don’t use brown color. Too dark cannot read menu written on it. Dont want to struggle to use. Please consider people have different visual abilities

Great app, used it since undergrad. An in app volume slider would be appreciated.

This app solves issues no other one does that I’m aware of so it is indispensable in that regard and for that I will give it 5 stars but I hope the developers will provide more of a help section or supply the app with some optional basic preset profiles to start someone off. If you already are someone that tinkers with things without manuals, you’ll find your way around quickly. Mainly writing this for those a bit less tech savvy out there. Intuitiveness of app can be improved but app is definitely great and after you figure it out, extremely nice. Show more

Works well. I wish there was a way to mute a whole measure at a time.

To say first - if you haven’t heard Avi Bortnik (the developer) play, check him out. It’s plain to see that he has spent plenty of time thinking about rhythmic ideas, how to listen, and how to fit everything into the pocket with other musicians. All of those ideas translate wonderfully into this metronome. It can be used in a traditional manner (click on every beat), or can be customized for different time signatures, to add extra beats within a time signature, and to drop the click on random beats. The latter is an extremely helpful tool to strengthen one’s inner sense of groove. To round everything out, there are many click sounds available to suit your taste and pair well with whatever instrument that you may be playing. All in all, this is an extremely well thought out and original imagining of what a metronome can be. If you’re looking at metronome options, this is an amazing place to invest $2! Thank you, Avi! This app is very hard to use. Not user friendly

I purchased this for the random mute, is a brilliant feature of this metronome. The random mute is easy to program, but setting a simple beat is wildly difficult. I keep getting subdivisions that I don’t want or need. Show more

This app is extremely buggy. The user interface is absolutely horrendous and it needs a lot of work. I’m sorry but I cannot agree with one of the positive reviews of this app. Show more

Great app for timing keeping!! A worthwhile investment for sure

Great tool for musicians!

For what it’s worth, I have been using this metronome for the last few years at home, in music college, on the road, and while privately educating classes/individuals around the world. It has helped me improve my sense of time and time feel—which is a totally different thing to focus on for those of you still getting into different ways of practicing with the metronome. Show more

I love the random mute and would love to rate 5 stars. The one issue I have is that I can’t seem to delete beats once i’ve added them up top. Could be me just not seeing it but i’ve tried just about everything. I’ve resorted to uninstalling and reinstalling when I want to delete beats. Show more

Skipping beats? Glitching overall not working well. Can’t make second row disappear? Hi developer who wrote me. Since I can’t respond to you via the method you contacted me at, I can’t answer your questions... The player who introduced me to the app here in LA is having the same problem. The app glitches, it will suddenly skip a beat or place two beats next to each other. Running iPhone 11 with 13.3.1 (Swipe down is a good upgrade, thanks for the heads up) Show more
