    Updated review...
Update: I contacted Dmitriy regarding this feature request and had a response in under 12 hours! As a developer myself, I know that it takes time to get an update through Apple, but I'm told that the update is already underway. Thanks, Dmitriy!! I've posted a review of all of the apps by this dev that I've bought. These are legit practice apps. Highly rcommended! Original review: I love all of these apps, especially, damnit, the $25 ones... They've made practicing a fun, challenging joy. This one, Modes Symmetry School, needs to have the count-in option for the metronome. Most of the other ones do - Swybrid Picking, Economy picking, Sweep Arpeggios... Please fix it! Thanks! Show more

    Valuable Training Resource!
Great Guitar App! The app is beautifully designed. I've only had it a week but am already finding the patterns are finding their way into my muscle memory through the clear and engaging layout. It's so fun and engaging that drilling the available patterns is becoming addictive and recall is becoming second nature. Really useful app. Show more

    Awesome app!!
This app has opened up so many new doors for me! If you want to master modes this app will show you everything you need to know. I'm now proficient in all the melodic minor modes thanks to this app! It uses the 3 note per string approach which can be very helpful in pattern layouts on the fretboard. Show more

    Top of the Line
Since I discovered the Fonexsis apps I have never been disappointed. Almost every aspect of playing a guitar is covered by one of these quality crafted Apps. I do use some other apps for similar purposes but I have found that If I really want something that will significantly improve my playing, then I can't do better than the Apps from this developer. They don't teach everything nothing does. After spending a lot of time and money, I have found most Apps with extraordinary claims have only claims and don't deliver. These apps deliver exactly what they claim to deliver, no more no less. Show more

    Very Professional; but...
It's a good app; however, there are two additions that would REALLY make this app stand out, and deserving of more than just 3 stars. 1) Add a selection of patterns to choose from. For example, Ascending / Descending 123 , 1234 , 1235, 3rd, 4ths Arpeggios and Triads. 2) The five major 'Block' patterns that utilize 2 & 3 frets per string. Show more

    Great!!
I deleted most of my other guitar apps except Fonexsis. These apps really work for me and my students. I bought all of them and waiting or more.

    Great App
This app is expensive but no more expensive than a book which would not be as good a learning tool. If you're serious about learning modes, go ahead and cough up the money then get to work. There's a LOT of info here. Show more

    Great
Great app but for that price there should be a lot more functionality.

    My favorite guitar app!
This app saved my money and prevented me from buying a number of guitar video's lessons! Update works perfectly both on my ipad2 and iphone!

    Good app with Great potential!
I enjoyed this app so much a went and purchased ALL of the other apps the developer makes even the piano ones. I hope the developer makes all of the apps hd like this one and it would be nice to have a better drone sound for the chords being played underneath the melody. Show more

Solid app, but needs more functions...
It's expensive. And for that price it should do more. Simply playing degrees of the major scale over chords in the respective key is not enough. Much less in the same annoyingly distorted piano sound. Even three choices of tone? After about 10 scales I just wanted it to stop. Didn't crash though, looking forward to updates... Show more

    Over-priced for what it does
I bought this app because I had been looking for a resource of any kind to help with modal chord progressions. While this app does that to some extent, it is grossly over-priced for what it delivers. It is a an okay app under $10 and a great app under $5. ...At $25, not so much. Show more
