One star for saying you support MP4 even though your app strips the video. Someone mentioned this in a review here 6 years ago and you still haven't fixed this or updated your description. Now I have to find and restore overwritten files. Thanks for wasting my time. Show more

I had a song I could never play in iTunes (Music app) because it couldn't read the duration or bitrate. I thought it would be a complex fix going into the file header and whatnot, but this app fixed it in 2 seconds and iTunes (Music) is happy to play it now, thank you guys!! Show more

I know this is in the Music category but I treid it for video files with funky tags. DO NOT DO THIS. The app supports MP4 files but removes the video from the file and leaves you with just the audio track. Show more

I converted some MP3s to ringtones, but they were sorting wrong because of tags I can't see. This app stripped all the tags and preview artwork in an instant! Recommend!

If you use this on MP4’s - it strips out the Video portion of the file. DANGEROUS.

When used on MP4 files, Tag Stripper also strips the VIDEO as well, leaving you with an MP4 file that contains audio only.

I used to love this app. Right now, it does not work. Maybe it is just OSX El CAPITAN but I used to drag like 40 folders and it would clear it up in seconds. Now with ESX EL CAPITAN, I cant drag anymore. I still give this 5 stars but with capitan, i dont know what happened. Anyone else? Show more

I'm also experiencing that this program changes 320kbps (CBR) to 320kbps (VBR) of my mp3s. Otherwise its seems a great little tool to do the job. But if it only removes tag information, it shouldn't change a song with a constant bit rate to a variable bitrate. I hope this gets fixed since I really would like to use this app. Show more

I thought it was pretty good until I added my cleared metadata songs to iTunes. This program changed my mp3's from 320 (CBR) kbps to 320 (VBR) kbps. If you take good care of your music collection, DO NOT download this app. Show more

Been using it consistently for the past few months now… And it still works as advertised… Version 1.2 strips multiple files without any hiccups… Shout out to the developer…will definetly be on the lookout for other app releases from Mark-V! Show more

After installing I experienced random program hangs. I emailed the developer and he responded almost instantly with help that resolved my issue. Great customer service!!! He also told me that an update is in the works which is great news. It's devs like this that keep me comming back to the App store. Show more

I just needed something simple to strip all the junk tags from a ton of mp3s so I just import than into iTunes with the file name becoming the track name. Worked fast and perfect. Show more
