    As good as it gets
Fully featured and sleek - everything a video player should be. If you’re looking for a video player app, this is everything you want. Seriously, this is leaps and bounds above everything else I’ve used. Show more

    Best video manager ever
This is the best video manager. It may not be the top app or have the most reviews, but trust me it’s very reliable, robust and well designed. It can handle lots of data while being fast enough to go through it all. Definitely recommend it! Show more

    Only one complaint!
I have only one complaint about this awesome player- it doesn’t put the videos in proper order. Which requires you to double check every episode’s title to make sure you’re watching them in order. Plays all video formats and has a decent user interface. If there was playlist selection or just proper organization of video titles I would give this 5 stars. Show more

    Best video viewing app
Of all the different apps I’ve tried to watch my downloaded videos on, this has been the easiest and most hassle free to use, you can set up increasing the play speed which is my favorite and what I really needed. The only downside is that the files don’t get arranged how you’d like them to be, like there’s no option for alphabetical or numerical order, and since I’m watching board review videos, not having this can get pretty annoying when I have to search where the next video out of 100 will be Show more

    Bad bug
iOS 12 iPhone XS - most of the time, rotating the screen, which triggers the video player to change orientation, will crash the app and you will lose your playback progress, etc. very frustrating. Sometimes doesn’t happen, but often does. Seems more prone to crash after watching several videos in a row. Memory leak? iOS 12 iPhone 8 Plus - had downloaded many videos by using "open in" and choosing GPlayer. That adds them to the folder "inbox" on the iPhone. Today I tapped the button "use iTunes backup" or maybe it's called just "iTunes Backup" on the app, on my iphone, and it instantly deleted the entire inbox. iPhone storage info shows GPlayer using only app space (around 45MB) and no documents/data. Very upset. Used GPlayer for years, since I think iPhone 3G. Show more

    Good Basic Video Player.
I use this often to watch videos, no complaints, but I do have a few suggestions that would be very helpful. 1. Can you integrate a way to loop a section of a video, and adjust the playback speed. I mainly use this for instructional videos it would be great to have the ability to loop a section and slow it down to assist with learning. 2. It would be neat to integrate a video playlist feature where a selection of videos could be played one after the other. Add those 2 features and it would make the app that much powerful Thanks Show more

    New IPad Pro Support
Hi Guys, This is really an amazing app and I have been using this for several years now. I bought a new iPad Pro but however this app is not supported for that. Hoping you will push the update for this very soon. So I can continue to enjoy this app and support the app. Show more

Need to fix the bug ASAP.
Second time rating this app. First I have to say it’s still my favorite app. It supports importing a folder directly from my Mac, which means I don’t need to spend time managing all the pics and vids into a neat order. Much more convenient compared to VLC since it doesn’t support viewing pics. However, there’re something I need to complain. First, some avi video cannot be played, which I believe it not the issue of copyright or something since they were captured by my own camera and I compressed them. VLC could decode them and play them, so I’m not sure if it’s a problem. But it’s just annoying. Secondly, all the files are in a seemingly random order. I’ve arranged all the files on my Mac in the alphabetical order, and they’re “perfectly” disarranged when I import them into GPlayer regardless of the file size, name or anything. I’m totally confused and it’s a HUGE problem for me since I need to scroll through all the files to locate the one I wanna pick up. That’s terrible. Really need to fix it developers. My devices: iPhoneX and iPad Pro 10.5 2nd gen both run IOS 11.2.5. Love your work. Please make it better after all these years. Show more

Works ok with one annoying bug
Seems to work ok, especially if I convert everything to MP4 format. The setting that selects "play where I left off" doesn't work. If I switch to another app and come back, it always starts at the beginning Show more

Everything works great but "open in"
Thanks to the guys behind this software. Please create "open in" inside the app.

Ease of use, unclear icon interface.
I use the app to view video clips that don't work the iPhone's built in video player. It requires very few extra steps to be able to watch a clip. The menu icons are less intuitive when it comes to knowing how to selecting individual clips for sorting and deletion, and require some trial and error to understand. Show more

    Codecs for sound
I hate to say it, but I've moved to nPlayer. I can always hear my files because they pay to use the codecs.
