I love this app. Position Markings or fret numbers on the side would be helpful. I’d prefer markings or side dots.

Great resource to quickly look up scales and chords for dozens of banjo tunings

No fret markers on the fret board makes me think someone without banjo background wrote this. Where are the pentatonic scales? Also, it looks like all scales are single string without melodic based scales (Keith style). Show more

Best way to learn and see all of the chords and scale clearly. I appreciate this app.

I paid for the all the chords version apparently before the "upgrade" that now crashes every time I try to use it.....

Solid app for learning banjo as a second (or third) instrument. If you've got the fundamentals of music down this app lays out modal scales and chords very well. I'll probably buy the alternate tunings soon too. Show more

I like this app because it really sounds like a banjo.

No provision for capo. No way to enter custom tunings. Quite a few tunings but I rarely find what I am looking for. Ok otherwise.

Not accurate at all ?

I just started playing the banjo 10 days ago (my first instrument to learn), and I have used this app since the first day. It does have several features that I don't understand yet, but (again) I am just starting out and haven't learned much yet. I use this app to help me tune my banjo, learn/check my chords, and I use the metronome all the time. I didn't give it give 5 stars only because I am not experienced enough to rate all the other features yet. Show more

If you already know your way around the banjo this app may be more useful but if you are just starting it goes way over your head from the get go. Maybe I will come back to it in a few months after learning the basics some place else. Show more

This application does everything it needs to do. It is an instructor, not a virtual banjo (you'll have to work harder than that to be a banjo virtuoso).

There are occasions when the sound stops and and all I know to do is reboot
