App crashes and won’t open. I have an iPhone 12 with iOS 15.2. Worked fine the other day but failed to work now. App support does not open either. Quality of tracks are excellent but do not recommend downloading this app. No good if it doesn’t open. Definitely no good if app support is not functioning. Show more

No purchases show up. I uninstalled then reinstalled but every time it just says no purchases to restore. I’ve bought every track and still nothing. The developers don’t update this app and there is no response from them. Show more

8/5/21 Update - Just goes to home splash screen then nothing. Uninstalled and reinstalled no help. App Support link goes no where. Dead on iPhone and iPad I am still new to playing guitar (about a year). This is a great app for practicing what you’ve learned and actually playing with a real band and not just a MIDI. Their support is great too. When I first downloaded I could not access and purchase additional tracks. I emailed and within minutes they replied and advised there was a problem. Later that day they fixed the problem and offered a bundle for the trouble. Very impressed and highly recommend. Show more

Please do a new version.

Basic functionality is good, and pricing is reasonable for the packs. But this hasn’t been updated in 2 years and it shows: several of the tracks I bought don’t display any chords while playing, or the wrong chords. Would also love to see longer tracks like whole songs rather than short sections. Still use this occasionally but have mostly moved on to other offerings like Jamzone Show more

I have tried many of these apps. None worked easy for me, some even had the drums way off time. I have played professionally for over 50 years and I am picky. This is the best one I have found. Works so smoothly. Very well thought out. The only thing is that I wish there was more country tracks but the tracks you can get are great for practicing your chops. And it is fun and that is important because that’s why I play guitar in the first place. Show more

This app has the potential to be amazing. The screen shots show pretty much just what I’m looking for. You have to pay to use each feature and then once you pay for that, you have to pay for each backing track. Show more

This app is great I’ve had it since the original version. Infinitely better and easier to use than multiple other things like it I’ve tried before The free version is great the packs & new features even better. initially posted a critique-review due to trouble I had with functionality on some of the new features. However since then I’ve got prompt technical support directly from the developer/programmer Dave and got it to work for me. Good product, good customer service Show more

I have had this app for almost 2 years. It’s the best available. I have been playing for 30 years. High quality sound and great interface. It is my go-to for jam sessions. Blues-jazz-modal rock-country. They are all great tracks. Totally worth the add-on tracks cost. Great job Mark. Thank you! Show more

What a great app this is! It is simple to use, with a clean interface. I bought the Blues Pack, and it is loaded with old school blues, rockabilly, country, boogie... hours of great jamming practice. It is worth every penny. Well done, developers, and I trust you will maintain this fine app with updates here and there. Show more

It's rather expensive. I wouldn't mind paying for the individual tracks or set of backing tracks if there was more to the app.

This seems like a nice app, but I got stuck immediately on what appears to be a bug. And unless I'm missing something there's no way for me to get help, or report a bug. For example, the Slow Aeolian Jam consists of a four-bar progression. The first three bars are a G–G-D–C sequence, repeated 3 times. For some reason, the big “Current Chord” display, which shows you what chord is being played at that moment, just shows a big “G” for three full bars (all 12 beats), with no change. It ignores the D and the C chord changes in each bar. Weirdly, the fourth bar IS shown correctly. The fourth bar is the turnaround (B-A-G-D), and the Current Chord display shows B, A, C, D on each beat. So that doesn’t work. Who do I contact? Show more

Very good app for jamming in different keys and tempos. My only complaint is this app will not display in landscape mode. Unfortunately, because of the type of ipad stand/adapter I have, I must use this app sideways. Very inconvenient, and there is really no excuse for this oversight these days. Show more

Best app to learn scales.

Great additions for using amp sim apps AND recording solos - great update Mark and Dave!!! I bought this app when it was first developed. Mark Fitchett and the app developer have done a great job continuing to develop and support the app. It is a perfect companion for jamming and practicing. The quality of the tracks are awesome and the ability to change key and tempo creates endless variety. Awesome app! Show more

This was a great app. I liked it so much I purchased the ultimate pack of tunes for over $12. After updates, all my purchased tunes are gone and only two remain. And once opened there seems to be no way to close it. So this app went from wonderful to garbage. But the developers are working hard to fix it. So soon I expect to have a great app again. Show more
