For several weeks it was working I used it on stage during multiple performances now it has crashed multiple times not saving hours worth of work I have purchased a different app that I Will now use in place of this app terrible job after buying this one and have it crash without any reason. While in edit. When I’m done with the first line and the try to add a second line the prompt disappears. When I go out of edit I see the words. Why can’t I see them while I’m writing? Show more

I wanted to test the rhymes and synonyms thing and it kicked me from the app evrey time and erased the song I was working on. Don’t waste your time with this crap Show more

It looks like a good app at first, but once I opened this app every time I tried to make another line it would let me all the words would just disappear. And won’t even let me put cords down. Someone can please respond to this, please write down help for me because I can’t get this thing to work. Show more

Since the latest update this ap doesn't work correctly. I liked it before that. Hope they update so that it works again

I used to love this app. Then I switched to a different ipad... When I start typing, my page scrolls up automatically so that I can't see my lyrics. There may be more, but I haven't made it that far yet. Please fix this!! Show more

Are u guys kidding me!!! U say u can put chords where u want them and they only display in display mode. Well no chords are popping up. Maybe it’s my I pad mini 4 but other than that it’s an ok app Show more

Whoever bought this app is garbage! Used to be good now it's trash.

I’ve been using Songwriter HD for several years and love it but just upgraded to an IPad Pro. I was having several issues so I deleted and reinstalled the app. I then tried Songwriter HD L but have the same issues. 1. If I rotate the iPad to landscape for ease of typing, I can’t see my lyrics. 2. I type the first line and when I start the second, it shifts the text to the left so I can’t see the first part of each line because it’s off screen. 3. When I click to add a new section,...chorus, etc. nothing happens. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE HELP!!!...and soon! I’d like to give more stars. Show more

I love this app, have been using now for over 2 yrs but now I cannot get into the app because it needs to be updated for it to work with ios11. To the developer of this app, please update it so I can continue using it. I have a lot off songs saved in it and now I have no access to app. Show more

Very good app.

This doesn't work at all

So, I got this on Apps Gone Free. Used it the first time to make a "lead sheet" for a song I was to perform at a wedding. For that purpose, the app is great. For the not so great, when you copy your lead sheet to Drop box, it turns the text into gibberish. There is no option to open your file in iBooks, or to send it to your printer. I did email it to myself, the attachment wouldn't open. Not a problem if you work strictly from the iPad, if you want copies for the rest of the band you are SOL. I've not tried any of the "higher" functions, as I usually work from a lead sheet. Also, the developer of this app has sold it to a holding company and it hasn't been updated in several years... I live this app! I am only 13, but this app is so simple!! I love writing songs, and this app makes it so much easier to focus on the lyric part of songs!! Show more

This is perfect for writing lyrics, but I wish you could add a beat, too. Add that feature, and this will be a 5 star app!

Ok I like the app but it's bad. Whenever I record something and try to play it, it won't play. And I don't even know what most of the buttons do! U should include a tutorial on what to do. And a lot of times the app has a really bad lag. Plz fix it. I'm trying to write a song so fix it Show more

I really like this app. I am an aspiring music writer and have my own music studio so that I can write down songs in sound, but when it comes to writing words/chords or tabs, it's really difficult to find a good way to do it. This app makes it simple and very easy to pick up for the first time. I love this app, and it really suited my needs. thanks! Show more

This is useless! I need an Ap for dummies, where I can whistle a melody, and have it transformed into something that sounds like it's from an instrument! Why can't you "geniuses" come up with something like that!? Show more
