I use this app all the time for ringing out microphones, measuring SPL at concerts and in my car, with home theater setups, tuning subwoofer boxes, calculating the idle on my motorcycle... I could go on. There was recently an update that caused the app to crash on my 5s running 12.4.8. I emailed the devs and received back a notification of a fix and scheduled update within minutes. And so I am here to write a review. The best part of this app that I haven’t seen other apps do is the ability to save snapshots of frequency spectrum, to adjust the window function width, and simultaneously output different noise while capturing the input response. Super handy. This app and service are worth every penny and should have higher reviews. Low reviewers don’t know what this app does or how to use it. Show more

App need a update keep crashing on iOS 12.0

The graphic equalizer keeps disappearing. To make the GEQ work again, I have to delete the app off my phone and then download it again. This is totally unsatisfactory. Recommend that you do not purchase the graphic equalizer which is an in-app purchase. I’m using this for live sound overall level setting, so the GEQ is important to me. Show more

I been using this app for 4 years and never had an issue. It’s a good alternative when bringing my whole laptop, interface and mic setup would be too much or not practical. Show more

Up until the last update I had the graphics analyzer now it won't come up when I turn my iPhone sideways. What's up? Same here; plus when it comes up the db accuracy is way off. Fix it please!!!! Show more

I'm pretty disappointed that after purchasing the app at $15, I had to put $10 more in just to get the calibration file for Mic W I-436. Really, for $15, they should include it. Especially considering this app is only a basic RTA (no other analysis tools). And I'm really not sure this app is any more accurate then a free one. Feeling a bit taken advantage of. Show more

I use this pretty often. We are upgrading the acoustics in a gymnasium. We use this to measure improvements as we do each step. It would be nice if you could do bulk conversion to CSI, bulk mail, and bulk delete. I like the choices of response, weighting, precision, and number of points. It has an intuitive interface. The remaining problem is that it did not target this iPad 3 with the last release, but that is now fixed. I ran it through its paces; same intuitive and very handy app Show more

Used to work. Last update rendered it useless on the iPhone 6.

This app does not work with the old iPhones 3, 4, or 5 much less new 6 iPhones. IT looks like it is going to work, but, does nothing. It has been a great app and used it many times to prove the high level, ear damaging, sound in given situations. If you are interested in a functional app, get the previous revision. It works. I was looking for a good audio app, I saw a video of the app, I downloaded, didn't work. Now they don't give your money back. I delete from my phone because it doesn't work like they said, reported to Apple for a refund but they don't give your money back. That's what you call been robbed! Show more

Error message tells me the iPhone requires a more current version - won’t load - funny - i had just updated the iPhone. The free bB meter works fine, not this one. Frustrating to pay for the full version and end up with nothing….. Show more

Was GREAT!! But now it doesn't show a trace. I checked the privacy settings etc. I'm really bummed. :(

DOESNT WORK WITH IPHONE 6

Worked good before the new iOS would even give it 5 stars. Now after the update doesn't work (won't pick up sound).

This used to be a great app, but now it's too inconsistent. Often times, it will stop receiving readings from mics and just display 0db unless hold is initiated and then it reads a -2147db. Closing all apps and resetting device has no affect. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. Show more

Feature rich application with the capabilities I was looking for. Has an attractive, but nonintuitive UI without obvious documentation, should have more options to export data, and is a bit pricy. Show more

Worked until hype update on my iPad mini retina. Now it loads but there's no audio incoming so there's no meter on screen. Hope it gets fixed!
