Works about 5% of the time.
No matter what settings I have, volume up, mute switch off/on, DND, whatever - the pitch app rarely plays. It’s the only thing it does and the only reason I bought it and it doesn’t work. ForScore lost their pitch widget so I can’t use anything now. Show more

    Doesn’t work
Apple Watch app closes every time I try to use it. Could I have my 99 cents back please?

    Doesn’t work — at all
No sound is produced. I can get sound from other apps just fine but nothing plays from this. The watch app produces sound but has no way to control volume so if you’re trying to discreetly get a pitch from your wrist it’s not at all discreet. Show more

    Where is the widget?
Based on past reviews, I just purchased this app specifically for the availability of a widget. Edited: It is a bit confusing because of the iOS 14 update, but I was eventually able to get the widget on my phone. I’m not sure how I did it, but it’s there now and I love the app! Maybe something could be included somewhere about how to get the widget? Show more

    Tuning
I’ve used this app for years and I love it, but I literally just noticed that the pitches are significantly flat when compared to a piano. I don’t know if it’s always been this way or it’s due to a recent update, but either way I can’t use this in my singing group of it’s not tuned closer to A 440. This is very disappointing and I hope you guys fix it!!! Show more

    Widget
Love this app, but since the iOS 13 update, the widget sometimes does not work, regardless of whether or not the phone is in silent mode.

    Not reliable!
I needed it and it would not give a pitch. Bummed!

    Meter please
It needs a digital meter to know when you hit the note.

    Puhlease get this app
It works perfectly. It’s super easy. I probably would have bought it just for the name, which is awesome. It’s just like a pitch pipe in that you just rotate the dial or Digital Crown to access pitches...but doesn’t get gross or germy, not does it get out of tune. I’m a voice teacher and active choral musician. Show more

The best pitch pipe app available
This is by far and away the best pitch pipe app out there. The interface is clean and intuitive, and I like how I can choose three different octaves. Also, this app still sounds when your phone is in silent mode, which I noticed is not the case with other apps. Your search is over—this is the pitch pipe app you need! Show more

    Reliable, nice features
Just what I was looking for. I wanted a back up in case I ever left my actual pitch pipe at home when I needed it (not a fun surprise). This app is great and it has some nice customization features that other apps don't have. Hearing the sound when my phone is on silent was essential, and it's neat that you can quickly adjust different aspects of the tone. Show more

    Works with os 8.2
I tested it on the piano and the notes are in tune. I'm thrilled that it was so easy to get a new pitch pipe that works so well. Now I'll have it with me wherever I go. I'm a fan. Show more

    Awesome! Just needs widget!
Love the minimal design and the app works exactly as advertised. Would love a widget like forScore has on iPad.

    Widget Please!
Great App! It would be great if you created a widget for the iPhone like the one you created for forScore for the iPad. It would be very helpful to have that widget on my iPhone. Show more

    Big improvement over last update
The addition of the portrait lock setting makes this version much more usable than the last update. Sometimes it's the little things that make a big difference! Thanks for responding so quickly to the feedback. Show more

    A great choice
What sold me on this app is the fact that it will still function when the phone sound is turned off. This is absolutely essential in a performing environment. It is visually pleasant, and easy to use. It automatically switches octaves as you click around the circle, and its tone options are nice, too. In the future I'd love to have volume control within the app, but the phone's volume buttons certainly work fine for now. Nice job designing this app! Show more

    Better than others.
I like this app because it is set up like an actual pitch pipe. Other free apps I tried had just pitches listed. I like the option of having a clarinet, piano, or tone. The tone option sounds much like a real pitch pipe. Plus you have two options ending the pitch. It can die on its own after a few seconds or you can press the center again and it will mute the pitch. I also like the options for tuning. Every band/choir is different, so you can adjust your tuning to them with this app. Show more

    Well done!
After looking over all of the available pitch pipe apps and trying several of the free ones, I decided to invest $0.99 on Pitch, Please! Well worth the investment - the pitches are precise, it's great to be able to span 3 octaves, and the piano note in particular is loud enough without sounding for too long a period of time. Show more
