I stumbled over this station a long time ago on my HD radio during traffic one fine day... suddenly lake shore drive didnt seem so bad. Ever since then its been love! This station is always playing music that I'm forever trying to Shazam the info. And sometimes, because the music is by a underground artist, Shazam doesn't have the info. I'm loving the new app. It actually gives you the entire daily playlist. And I was able to find MANY songs because of this new app. #ThankYou Showing love from Northwest Indiana via East Chicago. Currently deployed over 9,000 miles from home. This app definitely helps with the homesickness! I haven’t had any issues with it, love that it tells me Chicago’s local time, and the playlists info. Thanks for the great playlists and home feel. Show more

The music choice is amazing and the topics are great. I love having a radio show to listen to that's cool and new- super relatable for my age group.

I left an earlier review saying the app streams but that the playlist didn't show up in the app or the browser. Must have been a backend problem which they quickly fixed--like less than a day. Go team vocalo! And the station is amazing. Show more

Better then the first App that didn't stream AT ALL. This one seems to stall out and won't continue to stream until you re-launch the app. :-( sad face... Overall a huge tease for such an amazing station. Show more

Very different than the other public radio apps.

Great app. I love that I can listen on the go now and catch up on stuff I missed. Vocalo is the best.

I love Vocalo. I don't usually get to listen since I don't get good reception of 89.5FM in certain parts of Chicago. Finally I can listen whenever wherever.
