Some features work, some don’t. For you to call it a “feature” it should work ALL the time, not just some of the time. When I click ‘Ideas’, then ‘Dictionary’, type a word in the search box and click ‘Enter’ on my ipad keyboard, it should pull up a definition EVERY time. Most of the time it just hangs and NEVER comes back. FIX your app if you want any chance of selling more copies. I unfortunately have already shelled out the money for the “PRO” version and NOW the iTunes store indicates that it is NOT installed. What a ripoff! Really? Also, your chord feature? You might as well remove it, because it does NOT work! Focus on the lyrics! Don’t try to make your app everything to everyone. Be good at one thing and do it well. Some good tools, but it's impossible to get anything done because the ads pop up randomly and you inadvertently click on them, shooting your screen to some corporate website trying to sell you something. Also, while the rhyme dictionary is pretty thorough, the thesaurus is pathetic. I put in "bored" and only got one entry back: world-weary. Totally useless. I already bought OnSong, which seems so much more thorough and consistent with the quality. Show more

Great app for writing songs and great communication with the developer if you have any issues or questions.

Lost my first song completely because this app had a poor synch check when you sign up for the 50meg cloud. If you have another install already synched with no or other songs and add another device WITH songs the songs on the new device add will be deleted without warning! The Dropbox link only backs of raw text. The upgrade to full version has no pre upgrade purchase confirmation. If you thought this app an was an iPad/iPhone app you'll be in for a $9.99 surprise! Premium price for a shoddy, unfinished application. Confidence is shattered. Great opportunity for another developer to do it right. Show more

Way too many ADS, you have totally kill a great free APP.....

After an hour, I had written my first song with complete success! This app is great because it includes all the components that might be in any modern pop, country, or alternative song today. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to write a song, but there are wayyyyyyy to many ads. Show more

This app is way to confusing ,difficult, and toooooooo many adds won't stop popping up. I would not recommend this app to anyone!

It does very little that you wouldn't rather just do in a text document. It was also falsely advertised when it was on sale as the full version. I don't recommend this product or company. Show more

It's an awesome app but there are sooo many adds. Every time I open something there's an add. Otherwise, really good app :D

This is awesome, more than what I was looking for too.

It's very easy to arrange songs and I love the recording capability to grab a quick idea before its gone. I would like to be able to easily add my own words or phrases directly to the note pad without creating a new note template. Also would be awesome to be able to use different fonts within one song. For example, as a metal musician I like to put harsh vocals (screams) in red or in bold and back up vocals in gray or italic to differentiate them from the rest of the lyrical content. Show more

At least the free version contains the manual further explaining the unclear features only contained in the full version. Only being able to add audio through iTunes is inconvenient, and a deal breaker for me. Will only consider once AudioCopy, or at the minimum opening from email is supported. Show more

I absolutely LOVE this app. But the bad part about the free app is that it'll only let you write one song. ONE SONG?! I'm sorry, but one song isn't enough! I love to write, but it really bugs me that I can't write any more songs... Show more

Pawn does not rhyme with storm. Nor do most of the other suggestions. Not to mention how hard it was just to find the rhyme function. Also, I just need a word processor, I don't need an app to label my verse and chorus for me. Obviously a lot of effort went into this app, but not by anyone who actually writes songs. Show more
