    Works Great
I’ve been using this for several years now. Never had a problem with it.

    Instructions out of date
I first used this app a few years ago and the instructions for using it with Garage Band were good. Since then, Garage Band has been changed a lot and the instructions are no longer useable. I managed to add a new ringtone using instructions available in the second of two links given on the Morse Ringtone web site. Even that didn’t work exactly as shown. But after a lot of trial and error, I managed to add a new Morse code ringtone. I can not recommend this app at all since the average person can not use it based on the instructions required. If you are willing to invest an hour or so googling how to use Garage Band to access a file created by this app you might be able to get it to work after a lot of trial and error. Show more

    Fail with ios13.7
No longer works with iOS 13.7. GarageBand rejects paste

Misleading to advertise it as a ringtone maker
It’s an audio file maker for morse from text. Turning that into a ringtone is a whole different story and is definitely not within the capabilities of the application. Grossly misleading description to say the least. Just be aware that you will have to do some acrobatics to use any output from this app as a ringtone. Also, when the 5-star reviews include 7 step convoluted procedures to turn that audio file into a ringtone, something’s up. Make your own judgement on that. Show more

    Waste of $3.00
When using this app it’ll transfer your ringtone to Garage Band but then it’s grayed out so you can’t do anything with the file.

    Not What I Hoped
Program was a disappointment. Installed on my iPhone X. Things that won’t work... Trying to email ringtone the send button stays disabled Importing created ringtone into Garage Band app is a nightmare. No communication between apps. Gave up after many tries. Even though the is only a few dollars, don’t waste your money on this one! Show more

    Using an iMac & iTunes…
Step1) email your CW ring tone 2)control click on the “play bar icon” in the email & choose “save to Downloads Folder” 3) connect iPhone/open iTunes & open device 4) drag .m4r file from Downloads over the section (in iTunes) below your iPhone that says “On My Device” & drop it in “Tones” 5)Open settings on your iPhone & go to “Sounds & Haptics” and choose your CW ring tone!!!! 73 de KY9I Show more

    Worked just fine
The technique for getting the ringtones into the phone is a little roundabout. But, I suspect that has more to do with iOS than with the app itself. I found that the inter word spacing worked out better if I added a space at the end of the text for the ringtone. Show more

    Yes, this works as advertised.
This is my first app review. I was leery of spending the money on this give the negative reviews, but I took the plunge. The app works exactly as advertised, and the directions are quite clear and concise. I used the GarageBand method rather than iTunes, and found it easy and fast. If you can follow directions, and you’re capable of basic iPhone operations, this is a piece of cake. Really cool app if you’re a CW junkie like I am! Show more

A pain to create a ringtone
The Morse code generating part of the app is OK. But the effort it takes to get the audio file set up as a ringtone is ridiculous. Even the guys at the Genius Bar had no idea how to do it. If you want to spend $3 bucks for this app that should cost 99 cents, then this is how you do it. Create the audio file using this app. Then email it to a computer that you have iTunes installed. Download the file. Move it to your music folder. Add it to your ringtone library. Then sync your iPhone. Then you should see the ringtones on your iPhone. REALLY? That’s ridiculous! Show more

    Works great!
I had no problems creating a ringtone on my iPhone 7 Plus running iOS 11.3. Garage Band is required, but once you figure it out, it works great.

    No joy
I loaded this into GarageBand like it said, but that is far as I could go. Truly wish it would've worked well.

    Don't waste your money
The one other review on this (at this time) says it's EASY to use... maybe he's the guy who wrote the app because I don't where he got that idea. This app is insanely difficult to use. It does NOT make the task of making and using ringtones easy. In fact, I think I could probably master Rocket Science quicker than this piece of ... whatever. Don't waste your money or your time on this one! Show more

    Great App!
Was able to build the custom ringtones I wanted. I was then able to follow the instructions to download from app to iTunes and then sync back to phone. Directions were very clear (i was using version 12.2 of iTunes, directions were from an earlier version, but close enough). I am really not sure we what the negative reviewers are talking about. Granted, Apple makes this harder than it should be, but the app works wonderfully. Show more

    Save your money
The instructions are outdated and it is impossible to transfer the ringtone to your phone. I just wasted an hour trying to do this (I am VERY computer literate and used to do this stuff for a living) and could not get it done. My guess is that the app needs a major updated - it does not appear that they have kept up with iTunes updates. It is a neat idea, but just does not work! Show more

    Works Great
This app works great for creating Morse Code ring tones. It is kind of a hassle to get them loaded into the iphone but I think this is due to limitations that apple places on the system. Here's what works for me. After you create the ring tone, then select "email ringtone" and mail it to the PC with iTunes on it. Open your mail, save the attachment anywhere you choose. Go into iTunes, view your ring tones, then select File, Add File to Library, and select the ring tone that you just saved. ITunes will copy it over into your ring tone folder and it will be available the next time you sync your phone. Show more

    nice, but not
The hoops you have to go through to get the generated tone on your phone are ridiculas .... create tone, download tone through itunes, save to computer, import into itunes, sync tone to phone. Sheesh... You should be able to create the tone on your phone and be able to find it in your tone files and be done with it! None of this having to hook your phone to your computer and go through all the hoops to install a tone you created on your phone in the first place. Show more

    Ok app.......IF
Cool app, if the ringtones would actually load to the phone. It says "downloadeable from iTunes" BUT, where are they to be found on iTunes?
