Update: this app is still awesome. It’s a great exercise to do as part of your morning routine. Gets the voice loosened up and wakes you up. Also, I am using it to help keep my vocal chords strong after treatment for throat cancer. My doctor said it’s an awesome thing to do, better than the exercises they gave me (but not great for non singers ;) Old review: I usually can't be bothered to write app reviews, but I will make an exception for an app that has demonstrably improved my life in some way. This app is one of those apps. I've tried many voice training apps, and this one takes the cake. I actually looked up the app in the app store to leave a plea for the developer to update the app so that it continues to work (I was getting a message saying that this app will not work with future iOS updates.) I was THRILLED to see a message in the app's description telling me not to worry, a big update is on the way. The only advice I would give is to keep adding exercises to keep it interesting. If you added actual songs? Ooh baby! Also, anything you could do to gamify it so we can really see how we're improving over time would be delicious gravy. Great app! 5 stars! Bravo! Bellisimo! The review below is from a few years ago. On the strength of the app I added the annual add on subscription but I don’t yet know what that gets me. It’s not real obvious just searching through the app. I’m not a bad musician. I learned guitar and piano fairly young, played in a few bands and kind of left music behind as I focused on family and career. Although I sang in church choir as a kid, i never considered myself a singer. I began writing songs and doing open mics... I couldn’t show off my songwriting without singing so really had to step up the singing aspect. I bought Singer Studio to help me a bit with this aspect and find it to be easy to use, intuitive and fun to use. It helps me hit the notes when I play out if I use it consistently. I also produce my own songs and pitch the recordings for film and TV so they need to be really strong vocally. I would highly recommend it for users like me that aren’t singers first and foremost. I mainly use the beginner and intermediate lessons and tend to drop it for a while and pick it up again when i find myself going flat on notes. I’ve certainly gotten my money’s worth. Singer’s Studio listens to their customers and continues to build out the app. I would suggest explaining what each lesson will help to accomplish, as its not obvious to me. Wonderful app, helps so much across dimensions. Way more feedback, especially audio, then doing scales off a keyboard. It’d help a lot if there were a colorblind-friendly color scheme. With this one, it is quite hard to understand what’s going on with accuracy for colorblind folks. Also, it’d be great if there was a way to slow down the scales without creating a new exercise. Those are mostly suggestions that would help me use it. The app is already fantastic for improving your singing and fun to use! Show more

This app really is awesome. I’m only giving three stars because I want more. I’m a new singer but a classically trained piano and guitar I player. I’m almost through with all the courses. You can make your own…. But I’m not going to do that. Please keep upgrading app and I will keep subscribing. I have an Elton John piano book with some crazy vocal riffs when he’s sings. There’s a lot more I think you guys can add like that (maybe some blues vocal riffs or crazy vocal line excersize) and I’m challenging you to do it!!!!! Show more

Please don’t change!

Highly recommend this app for daily practice to strengthen your vocal muscles. It shows your progress and the exercises are really fun and simple.

I love the fact that it visually displays the notes, and measures my accuracy and hitting them. I also love the fact that it lets you adjust the speed, but I wish it would let you slow down an entire lesson, and not just a single scale. Show more

I can’t figure out how to tailor this app to my range.

This app has changed my singing life. Because of this app, I’ve gone pro.

I use this app every single day and I looooove it!!!! It is such an unbelievable tool for singers and makes practicing effectively so much easier. The little reminders and tips at the top of each exercise are super helpful and I love that I can try and beat my scores on each exercise! Every time I see a “New Best Score!” I get so excited. What else is nice is being able to actually see my vocal range progress and how much I’ve improved each day since I’ve began. The premium version is a total steal for everything this app provides! 100% worth every penny!! Show more
