Update May 2, 2023. I have been an RTA audio user since February 13, 2017. Just recently I have found the need to update my evaluation and give the developers a chance to fix things. But overall I’m extremely pleased with how the developer has kept increasing the functionality of this great application. To this end I am submitting these areas that need to be updated and rectified. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> iPad mini 5 generation, iOS 15.4.1, iPad 9, iOS 15.4.1, iPad 7, iOS 15.4.1. iPhone 12, iOS 15.4.1 On all iPads including the iPad mini, I am unable to export files and I am unable to delete files. Only on the iPhone 12 am I able to export a file, delete files. Please fix these bugs, thank you. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> RTA audio Pro has been an amazing app. Lets you see the sounds you hear, even the low frequency ones. The only reason I don’t give it a five star review is that I can’t export what I see as a movie video. Show more

Works flawlessly.

I’ve been using the app for over 2 years. I’m an audio engineer in a large mega church system. I have access to a lot of cool gear and I’m always on my iPhone as we use a group messaging app during services. And since I have my iPhone open the ease of this app is awesome. The new upgrade is a good one. This app works for me in a FOH situation every-time. Being responsible for an 1,100 seat auditorium for several services a Sunday I report back to the staff on Mondays my db levels and what frequencies were getting up there. It’s a great tool in my tool bag. Thx for the app. It works for me and our church campuses. Show more

IPHONE 8PLUS, IOS 12SERIES... After downloading & opening the app it first asks for permission to send notifications, then immediately a second popup window says the user has explicitly denied permission to access the mic (No I haven’t). Any other apps on the iphone can access the mic with no issues. No solutions to this problem can be found ANYWHERE under the Iphone ‘Settings’. Show more

I just recently reinstalled this, as it was the best RTA app for my iPad mini. Now I, a paying customer, am getting an error message saying “user has explicitly denied microphone access” or something along those lines. Please let us know how to fix it? Thank you Show more

I receive an alert stating that the user has denied access to the microphone. However, the microphone privacy setting within the iPhone settings does not show a request for access. There is no way to allow microphone access if the app no longer request access. The app performed phenomenally up until this issue appeared. Is there anyway to resolve this? Show more

App is reporting access to mic has been denied. Unable to find out why.

Please update! Not getting mic permissions not working. Not capable of listening. This used to be the best RTA on the market.

So my perception in this version, is that it no longer remembers my gain settings and resets them every time... Um, this is no good. Otherwise this has replaced the faulty Andrew Smith app I used for years before they screwed that one up. At least the free version. Cheers Show more

This app great but lately its been freezing up a lot. Please fix the issue it would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Unlike the JL RTA which had zero reaction to me sliding eq settings this one was right on it... Down the right frequency. Works good so far!

It works great and is an excellent rta for the iphone; best one i have used hands down!! Andrew Smith should take pointers from this app. Five Stars!!

Considering a cell phone is the LAST device you would want as a true and accurate analyzer, I am impressed with this application! Being a practicing Audio and Recording Engineer, having a hip-mounted "quick and dirty" tool like this is a great help! THANKS to the author of this handy little tool! Used this to tune car audio install. Better than head unit auto eq function. Get some white/pink noise and tune with this app. Better than JL app.
