So many good features such as pausing/resuming recordings, adding bookmarks in recordings, merging recordings, jump forward and backward buttons (with adjustable duration) during playback, adjusting playback speed, editing clips, etc. this app has it all, where many other apps were missing one or more of these features. I especially appreciate the rich features because iOS basically has very few useful features on the native apps, especially iOS voice recorder, which has no features at all except record/stop/and play. I just changed my rating from three to five stars because I solved a problem where the recording would abort when I would use another app that plays sound. I resolved it with the following setting: Settings/recording/interrupt free recording (toggled on). This is useful, because I often record for hours while I’m using other apps. Show more

I have used this app for years, and it was a great app for so long. Now I think something is wrong with the engine as it runs on iOS 16 or the new M2 chip on my iPad Pro Gen 6 (2022). Now if I try to clean u p any audio or run an filters, it never saves more than 50% of the audio. I thought maybe it was my old app somehow, so I downloaded the new Voice Record Pro 7 and it saves even less— around 8%. What is going now with this app now?! If I can get this figured out, I’d gladly give it 5 stars! Show more

My old recorded item’s disappeared??

In attempting to export a file from this app, I was missed directed via an in app ad to a service that requires you to submit a credit card, though it says there will be no charge. Within one minute of submitting. My card was flagged by my bank as having had two charges to dating services and my card is now blocked until I can get my bank to issue a new one. It’s one thing to have advertising within an app, but the advertisers allowed by the publisher should be vetted. Because of an ad attached to this app my credit card ended up getting blocked. I looked for a place here in the App Store to contact the publisher directly to discuss this, but could not find one. Please note, I am no novice. The ad was placed in a way that made it easy to mistake it for part of the export process. Show more

How can I change this dingy background color to white? It’s hard on the eyes.

I really like the quality of the sound with this app. fantastic !!! It is truly the best audio recording app I’ve found!!! Thank you!!! I just got it recently and I’m using it, but have some questions.There are many things that are more for professional applications that I may never use, which is okay, it leaves room to grow into using the other features later. I really would like to know if there’s a play continuously or repeat button? Also the app description says it has the ability to add on to current journals but I haven’t figured out how yet? What I also like is this app has the ability to back up and share recordings. It’s nice it saves deleted recordings to re-add if needed. It wasn’t possible on my old app. I have reached out to the developers hoping for an instruction section for basic use and a key to the symbols used. This will help for those of us less tech savvy!? It has color coded options for your recordings files, you can make notes, rename the file, send to different social media with a tap of button, adjust audio quality and soo soo much more! Really thought this app was great and made lots of recordings. Used the feature where you can Append a recording to another often. But just discovered that it doesn’t include the Bookmarks when you do the Append. Lost much work in setting them up. Not good. Show more

This app has been invaluable for quick practice and writing tool for our band. I am recently having issues wit the app getting stuck during playback and have to constantly close out and reopen.? Hope it corrects itself. Perhaps too much storage on it now Show more

this app is great for a beginner like myself easy to record and cut the crap ,playback throw in a guitar and listen how I sound, because tracking and recording is a whole another art that will never get old. I have used this app for several years! I absolutely love it ?. Recently my iphone would not open it and it would not allow me to update. I was forced to delete it and when I logged back in it did not have any of my recordings. I hope there is a workaround for this ? app developers please help???!!! Show more

My son was giving a speech, it was hysterical, my son was great. When he was done, I hit stop, and the file size was 0.00. It hadn’t recorded. I did what I always did, turned it on, checked the levels, hit record, and it clearly was doing it. But nothing. Performance GONE Show more

Best recording app anywhere!!

I’m 65 years old and have been exchanging cassette tape letters with pen pals for over 30 years. It’s impossible to find a reasonably priced “shoebox” or handheld recorder, but this app works better than cassettes ever did! And sharing our “tapes” electronically means they don’t get lost in the mail and postal increases don’t keep us from enjoying this hobby. Show more

My app has suddenly removed all the titles from my files and will no longer allow me to send files, back up files or trim and edit. These are a few among many of the issues and lack of permissions that I have come across today. I rely on this app heavily for my daily work as a musician and artist and the current situation is crippling. Please check this and update the application asap!!!! Show more

I don’t know why this doesn’t work, but this app refuses to make stereo recordings. I’ve gone through all the settings and made sure I selected highest quality, stereo, etc., and every recording I make on this app and the Pro version come out in mono. My iPhone 11 Pro has stereo microphones and I have not had any issues making stereo recordings with other apps, such as Ferrite. I don’t know what I have to do to make this one work. I like the interface with the VU meters. Oh well, too bad. In the bin it goes. Show more
