    Sfx
The sound effects almost ruin this product. There is no way to turn off the loud and unpleasant sound of the cards being shuffled.

    Great app
It’s really good functionality is there it’s not overflowing with features but it’s a well made app I recommend it.

    Good
Would be better if you could set the cards to flip automatically, with adjustable time period.

    Good, needs an update.
Good for what it is, but the interface is not responding to taps well. Without an update in three years, it might be a bit long in the tooth for iOS compatibility. Show more

    Love it
I'm a piano teacher and I use this app all the time for my students. It is super easy to use. All my students that are using it are improving the reading super fast. It is always nice to have flash cards on the go. Although is not for the use of young beginners but for adults and kids that understand and read notes on staff already is perfect. Show more

    Almost fired
I almost got fired at my job cause I kept trying to find good learning piano apps on my phone. Went through hundreds and I can say this is in the top 3. Show more

    Needs flexibility
Love the easy interface but there's no way to select ranges of notes to work on so makes it useless for me as a teacher. It's all or nothing. I can't limit the decks to suit the learner: e.g., five notes only for new beginner; line notes only, no leger lines, etc. Fix this and I'm in. Show more

    Helpful, but needs some tweaks
App is helpful in memorizing notes on staves; however, biggest complaint is the inability to silence sound effects. Should automatically disable sounds when vibrate switch is enabled. Also unable to listen to music while using app, as each time a sound effect is triggered (which is with each card turn), music stops playing. Show more

    Simple and Effective!
It's definitely helping me learn those notes!

    Ok
Not bad but how about adding alto and tenor clef notes for viola, cello and bass.

    Waste of money.
This is called flash cards but they are not. Just cards and answers but no test mode. Not fun.

Exactly what I was looking for ?
Having recently started using Notion for iPad, I found this app to provide a useful explanation of the various notation entries. The pronunciation feature was helpful and the flash card-style interface is great for memorization. Highly recommended for newcomers to music notation. Thanks for the update! Show more

    I guess...
It's ok, just expected more for $2...

    Needs More!
Nice idea, but needs notes! I was hoping to use this for students, but it is not complete yet.
  • Pianotunerman, 13.08.2012
Not at all complete...Not even close to my flash card pack!
This is not complete at all ! Where are the note names A B C D E F and so on... No intervals... No clefs to recognize notes on. Names of some of the symbols are not the names I've heard all my life. Make it better and I will change my rating. Don't charge me for another deck to add more. This one isn't close to complete. Very helpful
I am learning to read music notation and this app made it really easy and fun for me to study. The best part is being able to hear how the word is pronounced! Show more
