The App Editor is decent. Please keep in mind that it does not have all the features of the actual unit. It’s best for your mixing page and renaming and saving patches and studio sets. It can do a little more, but not much more than that. As long as you have the right wireless usb device, it will sync perfectly with your unit without problems. As a recommendation, whenever I use my iPad with it, I turn off the automatic screen timeout. If your iPad screen times out while you’re playing, you’ll notice a slight midi hiccup. Noting will break but there will be an interruption. Disable the screen timeout and you’ll avoid that issue. I use the app all the time as it’s a bigger screen for my mixer viewer and it’s better than just using the onboard screen. If the app had the full features of the unit, that’d be better, but the app is better than nothing at all. Show more

Recently the app is not reliable... perhaps due to Apple iOS updates? Is it possible to update the app so it doesn’t crash? Otherwise it is great.

The Roland Integra app now closes when you click the READ button, or try to select a Studio Set. I've tried restarting my iPad Pro, restarting my Integra, switching to a wireless connection, etc. When the app does work, I randomly get a midi error when trying to switch Studio Sets. PLEASE FIX ROLAND, and I'll change my review. Show more

Dear Roland, Many of the purchasers (like me) are performers live- in real time. How about including some of the cool features of the app for people who use the Integra 7 in live performances like you have for the home/studio/composer? Another fake studio DAW item that death spirals and complains and doesn't do anything.

I love this app. It works as described, and ever since the app update was released, I am finally able to use the app again with my iPad Pro second generation with the latest operating system. MY ONLY COMPLAINT: I wish I could adjust octave settings for individual parts on the iPad interface. Similarly, there are MANY other possible settings for each part that are not accessible from the app. Is there a way to fix this? I am constantly in many performance situations in which the Integra 7 itself is not immediately accessible to me. Being able to adjust EVERYTHING would be fantastic. Show more

I just purchased a new Roland Integra-7 a couple of months ago. Owning too many keyboards, one of which is the Jupiter 50 (which I have decided to sell), I replaced it with the rackmount version. Part of the big appeal of going to the rack mount was that it had an iPad app. I was wrong! Just a couple of months ago, I realized that they had taken it off the App Store (AFTER I purchased the 7)! Boy was I disappointed!!! Then today, I ran across a fresh link for the Integra-7 app, so I followed it back to the App Store. Lo and behold, I saw that they brought it back from the dead! You can't believe how happy I am! I have to say thank you to Roland (a little begrudgingly) as it seemed that they would never update this. My only gripe at this point is, that the wireless is not working properly. It worked a little bit the first time but constantly fails to connect. Please fix this Roland. BTW Roland, if you are still making products that are for sale in retail, you should support them as well. I was losing faith because of this incident, but hopefully you will do the right thing in the future with all your products like this, especially when someone pays $1500 for your product. This app is probably the easiest, most convenient, and attractive solution to selecting and editing your sounds in the Integra 7. For me, the Integra is great- amazing sounding and flexible, however the integration with the iPad is what really makes it invaluable for me. Being able to select sounds based on the categories with colorful icons really helps me make music easier. Now I think about what TYPE of sound I want to come next, rather than scrolling through presets. It's never been easier to make fully layered productions, especially considering it takes zero CPU power. Definitely my secret weapon ;) Show more

Roland says the product is discontinued and they will not be updating the app. The product is still being sold in stores.Some new Roland products also feature apps . Don't count on those apps ever being up dated, right .So if any of those apps seem like a big factor in your purchase, you might want to reconsider Roland with your purchases. On my iPad Pro I have 235 apps only 13 have not been updated. I believe it is not hard or expensive to update this app. It is clear many by far smaller companies have updated their apps . Your going to have to make a massive assault on Roland support , if there's any chance of changing their short side decision, which does effect their reputation. Should Roland support be called Roland unsupport. Roland now says it's putting list of comments from integra users together to send up corporate ladder so get those emails into support. Because the way our studio works we cannot use the plug-in on the computer in Logic Pro. The iPad was a serious part of the workflow and we are dead in the water for all intents and purposes. Please update the app “yesterday“. Manually making the adjustments on the Integra are a pain in the neck. The application is excellent but no good if not updated. Cannot stress the importance of getting this update done ASAP. Show more

I have used this app both with USB and WiFi connections and have never experienced problems of any kind. It would be nice if it had more features, but the features that it does have work well. Update: The app no longer works with iOS 11, so I have changed my review from 5 stars to 1. Very displeased. Roland, please update; I would love to change it back to a 5. Show more

I bought Integra-7 hardware but was very disappointed because when this editor worked with the old update, it always crash. Now it doesn't open at all and says it needs to be updated but there is no update provided by Roland. Is Roland going out of business? Show more

After update iOS 8 this app doesn't work with wireless connection kit

For such a large company and such a high price for the rack, the editor app needs some work. How about some updates? How about more than just selecting a patch, but to be able to edit it would be nice. Roland needs to give us V2 of this app. Show more

Not sure what the problem is with these other people crying about how terrible this app is. It works great 100% of the time for me, although it is really only good for cycling through all of your sounds and categorizing them efficiently. If you expect to be able to reprogram your Integra and change all the parameters through the app well, be prepared to cry and write a one star review. It's good for what it is until they make an update for it. Show more

Very buggy. Be prepared to waste lots of time trying to connect, then trying to figure out why your DAW (computer) doesn't connect anymore. Very nice as a librarian when it works as it is supposed to. Show more

This app is an insult to the buyer of a $2000 keyboard processor. Do not waste your time getting this app!!! I have wasted precious hours struggling with saving internal performances, not to mention that the poor excuse for a 'manual' that comes with the app is no help. My advice if you just purchased an Integra -7 is to put it back in the box and return ASAP! Not worth the hours of hassle and disappointment! I can't believe that every ad for the integra boasts on the use of the iPad app when it is poorly executed. It's also inexcusable that Roland would advertise this app when it is ABSOLUTELY un-usable. It's like using a rusty, jagged knife to cut filet mignon. My only wish is if I could give this app a negative star. Show more
