It’s a decent app but it’s obviously amateur and to unlock any features you need to pay $20! This is a $5 app at most, not a $20 one.

i'm just starting the tutorials but I saw it was created by one person in his home. that is a great way to have complete design and quality content, to produce an app, especially something limitless as creating music. i admire the drive and passion, thx. will write 2nd review Feb 21. good luck & thx Show more

i got this to experiment with chord progressions for song writing but there’s an extremely limited selection of chords and you have to pay $20 to be able to get more??? it doesn’t make sense Show more

I hope the developer will continue to support and develop this app. It has the best selection of chords, is easiest to play, has midi out, pretty great. I would prefer that all of the features were in one screen (maybe tabs instead of entering and exit gin screens), but so far, that's a small complaint for the quality provided. Show more

I got new iPad Pro 4, invested $20, but now it crashes all the time and the UI is broken too, buttons doesn't work as expected. I think it's due to iOS 10, hope it gets fixed asap. Otherwise I would've increased the rating as well. Show more

But unfortunately, it seems to crash upon opening on both my iPhone 6s and iPad Air in os10. Perhaps it needs an update?

I love how it's easy to record and how many song I can write it just a truly amazing experience.

I'm a long time guitar teacher. One of the best things i ever did for myself was learn how drums work by programming a drum machine to play songs i knew. I'm still looking through this thing, but it looks like a great way to really learn how songs and accompaniment are put together - if i dig it over the next week, i'll even drop the $20 for the full version - it will export midi for me to drop into pro tools :) Show more

This is the best app I've run across for creating and nurturing a guitar based song idea. Creating strum patterns, picking individual notes and selecting or building absolutely any chord you would like makes it super simple to try out different progressions and ideas. I love this app! Show more

Compose/transcribe your chord strumming, all from your iPhone. I haven't used it that much, so I can't give 100% confidence to may 5 stars, but so far, it looks really promising.

Best thing out there for what I need - One-handed use and ability to go through the entire diatonic chord progression with the addition of pentatonic nodes of chord usage. Helps to memorize all the songs I work on. Thanks guys for putting this out - the ability to record is just a nice bonus for me! Show more
