I first purchased this app on my phone, but could not get the volume loud enough. I decided to purchase same app for my mac and found that the tempo can only be set in increments of 5BPM. Ponm the iphone I was adble to set to 1BPM increments. Totally unhelpful and a waste of money to have a computer app that differs from the iphone on a primay and critical feature such as the tempo! been using this app for a number of years…. just great…. I wish developers would modify app to enable it to get up to 240-250 BPM..

the tempo at 60 bpm is way too fast for beginning sight readers and beginning music students. can you please adjust this in the next upgrade?

I do like it as it is easy to use for playing to. But I would like to be able to update it with more beats and i see no way to add more in buying more to add to it. Would like more rock beats. But over all it is very usefull. I am using it on my Mac Mini M1 with no problem. Show more

I got this app on my phone a few days ago hoping I can work on my timing on the guitar because that's one thing that I rarely practice. Using a metronome always just felt unnatural and weird to me, so I stayed away from using it which has been a huge mistake because now all my loops are crazy timing messes. I figured there must be a way an app that where I can use a drum loop as a "metronome" and luckily found this gem. It's stupidly easy to use and has tons of drum loops to spice up any practice session. Show more

More fun than a metronome for practice. Also fun to jam to the different beats. I would change my rating to 5 stars if it allowed 1 BPM tempo adjustment.

Can't get thr drum track I select into my DAW (ProTools), and when I emailed for help I got crickets... complete waste of money!

Works. Simple. Sounds good/way better than a metronome which is really what I was looking for. I hate the metronome tic toc sounds or any sound really and this beats 'em hands down. A couple of times I've wished I could get down under the 60bpm bottom but that's a niggle and doesnt detract from the essential goodness I get here. Show more

I just installed this. It almost worked. The problem is that every time you change the bpm or drum sample, the volume resets to a very high level. So you constantly have to adjust it down. I bought this to practice my guitar, so that I could gradually increase the speed of my playing. Imagine the constant high volume resetting, over and over in your headphones. The app is useless. I wonder if there's a way to get my money back. Show more

Great tool for practice, when i get bored using the metronome I switch to this app to spice my practice time. I wish it have a click over the groove, that would be perfect and they can fix pre-count, it doesn't work but overall I enjoy this drum machine app. Show more

I’ve been playing guitar for over fifty years. This app has made me a better player by helping me to fine tune my timing. A tremendous practice aid. Please update to feature parity with the iOS versions. I use the new features extensively and really miss them in this OSX version. Show more

Just what I wanted / needed: simple genere/style selections, heavy in blues, tempo adjusts ranging from 60-190… way better than using metronome.
