Downloaded it and every time I try to open it, it just crashes and kicks me out. Don't waste your time or money

Horrible. Doesn’t even come close to working properly. A total and utter waste of my money.

This app could be awesome and very useful if the creator spent some time working out the bugs. Right now it just crashes all the time.

Worthless! Will not analyze a recorded song and then the app keeps crashing. I want my money back.

This is the app that I was looking for. I was looking for an app to where I can sing into the microphone and it turn it into musical notes and this app did just that and it does it well! Easily rated it 5 stars! Show more

Technological breakthrough

My 8 year old son spent $2.99 on this app and after recording 10 songs it says he needs to upgrade from the FREE (not free!) account in order to have unlimited songs. It wasn’t free! Show more

Pretty bad not worth

Just bad. I recorded the same basic single instrument melody 10 times and it gave wildly different results each time. Also, I paid Apple store for the app, but after 10 “free” recordings (wait…I paid for the app???) it said I would require a subscription. Don’t waste your time Show more

Doesn't create accurate notes from listening, everything is wrong. Don't waste your money.

I think this app is good for what it does but I think if there was more options to hear it in different instruments would be really nice also if you could use it in the background with voice memos would really intuitive but other wise worth it. Show more

I was really excited about trying this, however, it cannot recognize chords, you have to play super slowly (one note at a time), and cannot notate tempo or chord changes. I am surprised this had such a great rating in an article I read. I tried a quite a few times but it never wrote anything close to what I was actually playing. Plus, it has limited instruments. No acoustic guitar or ukulele available. If you’re looking for a program that write sheet music while you play, keep looking. This one was a great idea, but the reality makes it a waste of even $3. There goes 3 bucks! I was getting so good at not buying worthless apps but this one suckered me in. Bravo marketing team! You fooled us again.

For people who are making or wanting to make songs with chords, do not buy this app I have tried it and it does not convert your notes very well, this was a huge disappointment and a waste of three dollars. You cannot write chords and when it analyzes your song it puts it into an terrible note sequence with advanced things that you may not have intended. Show more

I can’t believe I wasted my money on this. It can’t pick up simple notes such as Middle C it’s the most basic note. Do not buy this app

I had high hopes. I was instantly disappointed. This app is way off. Save your money. I’d like a refund.

So, I bought this app because I thought it would help me dictate some music I’ve been working on. Speeding up my process. It did do a good job with the rhythms, but the pitches were a mess. Instead of staying on the same note it would move it to another octave (or two) lower. Instead of my melody being all on the treble staff it’s mixed between two treble staves and a bass staff. Super strange. Not worth the money I spent. I wish they would fix it. It’s an excellent idea. Show more

Forget it! Useless

This app does pretty much what it says it does. All the time? No, a lot of times it gets the transcription wrong but some quick edits fix everything up. Very good with rhythms but notes it can get wrong. (Hint...when notes are wrong they’re usually flat). This is great for classical and jazz composers. It would be great if one could export as PDF, MIDI and whatever file Sibelius and Finale use. That would be great! Show more
