    Still dropping out
    This app has been dropping out for years. Even after trying to get help from support and doing all they said I can’t keep it running for more than 15 minutes before I have to shut down the app and restart it. Very frustrating when support claims they can’t duplicate the problem. Show more

    WBOI App
    I work in Michigan and use the app to listen to WBOI. I also am no longer stuck in the car in the garage waiting for a show to end- just bring it up on the app and an continue listening. Really glad I have the app!!! Show more

    Great While Traveling
    I frequently travel outside of the listening area (NE Indiana) and really enjoy the convenience of being to continue listening to shows when the FM signal weakens. It’s also nice to be able to listen to local news and programming when I’m away from home for several days when traveling on business and holiday trips. There is always the fallback of going through the website when only a wired connection is available or when I’m working on a pc and can use a browser without using my data. Show more

    Buffering...
    It buffers and has to reload a lot. I also don’t like that WBOI isn’t available on the regular NPR app because you have this separate one.

    Cuts off sometimes
    Sometimes when ai’m listening, the sound inexplicably cuts off. But I very much like the app’s convenience.

    Buffering frustrating
    I love NPR, But this app is very frustrating because it keeps stopping to buffer sometimes it will rebuff several times while it is stopped and then when it starts it keeps repeating parts of the program as many as five or six times.This happens when connecting buy sell and even when I have a very strong and fast Wi-Fi signal.     I love being able to stream WBOI, from my home as well as when I am traveling both domestically and internationally.

    What a great app!
    This app works very well. I can listen to nipr from anywhere. Lets you rewind and bookmark stories.
