    Great job
This app does exactly what it claims to and looks great. I’ll be using it in the classroom soon to demonstrate concepts like “narrow sound frequency band”. Thanks!

Review From an EE in Signal Processing: Excellent!
I’m a BSEE (University of Washington, 1995) with experience and a bunch of patents in signal processing. This app is an outstanding tool for understanding the spectral content of an audio signal. It was clearly designed by someone with some expertise in the field, and it’s a joy to use. Show more

    Absolutely fabulous
Works perfectly. My only wish would be to also look at the waveform in the time domain. I use this app for testing new speakers. You will not be disappointed.

Great app, needs a way to export data
I greatly enjoy how feature full and yet simple this app is. It runs great and seems quite accurate. One thing I think is dearly missing is a way to export the signals measured to a file (like csv). Taking pictures is great for qualitative comparison but this tool would be way more valuable if it could be quantitative. Show more

    Favorite fee app
As a studio engineer who has to run live sound a few times a year, this app saves me a lot of trouble. I can ring out mics in a heartbeat and solve problems more quickly on the fly. No more sweeping for the exact frequency to notch, or for where to center the de-esser! It’s especially handy on an iPad with its larger display. Show more

    Performant and accurate.
Fantastic! Apps like this are the reason we don’t need to buy a stupidly overpriced bespoke piece of gear for every little niche... unless we want to! Keep up the great work! Show more

    Great app
The averaging function works really well. It would be nice if I could figure out how to use an accelerometer with it

Great respect for the app developers
I use it to show my kids what music looks like in the frequency spectrum. Given how much time is required to learn and program an FFT analyzer, I am glad to support the developers efforts. Show more

    Very nice
Very nice app. It hasn’t been updated in quite a long time but it works just fine in iOS 11. I’d like to see an update with more robust features (hi developers) maybe a spectrum analyzer too or more info on the frequency graph etc. But as it stands it works very well. Show more

    simple and easy
    Exactly what I want

    Fixed frequency range, no zoom
I was interested in 20 - 80 Hz. The range appears to be fixed at 0-21k. So the low frequency resolution is coarse and the is no peak hold for catching unstable sources. Show more

    Great app
    Super simple. An invaluable tool.

    Very nice FFT
The nicest thing about this analyzer is that it has the ability to recognize the particular microphone you have plugged in to your iPhone. I use a Shure MV88 stereo mic. That means that the application is calibrated for my particular microphone! I was able to quickly equalize my sound system and it sounds much better now. Show more

    Fun and sciency
If you're curious about tonals, noises, or how loud that concert really is.

    Nice frequency analyzer
It's a nice, simple frequency analyzer that works well. Used it to help explain frequency and pitch to the kid. There's not a lot of bells and whistles and flashy graphics. May appeal more to a more technical (geeky) user. Would recommend. Show more

    Fantastic FFT
Using it for a school project. Tried a few free options and there is nothing close to this app on the market. Works very well!

    Works great!
Although I would recommend their more expensive, fully featured app. Well worth the money.

    Great app!
Would be perfect if it can record a samples

    My Fave FFT App
It's fast/slow and window choices, and look and feel are very natural for working in the frequency domain. Watching music it just "looks" proper. The ability to decode the frequency peak to a musical note is a natural, but extremely useful feature... Three features I'd like to see? 1) Screen capture video... share the look of your favorites dynamically. 2) Capture-Process-Slomo: capture a length of audio, process the FFT, then play the video back slowly, with scrubbing, to allow transposition of complex arpeggios... 3) Transpose 2) into musical score or tablature. Simple and Useful
Nice, simple app. It does the job well. I downloaded this app to test the frequencies in songs, as I curious what are the notes sung.
