Just picked this back up after using other granular apps, and the simple interface, with immediate understandable interface feedback, was gratifying. Not a substitute for other granular tools, but well worth having in the toolkit. Show more

How do you change sound input- like from my music rather than mic..

played around with this last night and can creat nice spacey,droney music/ sound with it. i still wish there were more parameters and a record and file import export option..you need to give this app a little time and play with the settings, at first i wasn't impressed but with the right loop and tweaked settings this app started to do its magic.. Makes some cool sounds. Its pretty easy to use. Would love to be able to record to a file.

I use GrainProc in a variety of settings and styles of music making. The simplicity of the interface is deceptive; one can do A LOT with this app as a performance instrument as well as 'mere' live processing. There are a number of good granular apps out there, but this is consistently my go to. Show more

Audiobus support just turned this into a 5-star app. Very useful. This is a small gripe, and no offense meant, but the only issue I have is I think the font used in the app is a bit tacky. The color scheme could also be prettier...but these are cosmetic issues (and just my opinion). They don't take away from the fact that this app is now officially totally awesome. Show more

Cool concept of manipulating ambient and other sounds..yet lack of GUI or any exporting makes it a little useless..

The sliders don't give visual feedback and even stop working. No thank you.

If you are into making space music, psychedelic rock, noise music or ambient sounds, you should try this. It adds a whole new dimension to playing and creating music. Super easy to use. Very cool app! A sincere "thank you" to the developers! Show more

Very useful for creating evolving textures under live instrument/ voice input. Pretty intuitive to use, though didn't discover the second layer until viewing some online demos. Can't believe this is a free app. Kudos and thanks to the developer. Show more

Very nice app easy to use :) :)

It plays through earpiece so you need headphone to use. Cuz u sure cant tweak anything with it up against ur ear
