I thought I’d paid for this app, and it even has a link to “restore” the purchase and hide the ad banner, but that doesn’t work anymore.

When playing on shuffle mode, I would like it to cycle through all the songs within the album/playlist/etc before playing an already played song. I noticed on Shuffle mode, when I hit the back button, instead of restarting the existing song or even repeating the previously played song, that it just starts a completely different song (haven’t tried this in a while, so unsure if that is still the behavior). I have over 100GB of FLAC music files loaded into the app. In the last few days it stopped working. It can not find the FLAC files. I uploaded just one song and it could not find it or any of my older songs. It must be related to the new update 2.9 about a week ago PLEASE FIX THIS. Show more

Would get 5 stars but it keeps stopping the music and asking me to rate it or share it. Why? The app is great. I have already rated it 30 times. Why won’t you leave me alone and just work as intended? Show more

Great app for listening to your own FLAC rips. Great EQ selection also. 5 stars!

It lets me see my cloud drive in “settings”, but search doesn’t work, there’s no “download” or “add to playlist” option.

in-app ads, if a video is embedded in it, interrupt playback. it is very annoying

Constantly stops playing for no obvious reason in multiple different ways. It will pause music without being touched, it will stop playing audio even though the app says the song is playing and it will disconnected the app from bluetooth and play out of the phone even though everything else on the phone plats out of bluetooth still. This app has serious bugs that need to be worked out and is not worth the time or effort of loading your music library into it. Show more

This app does what others I have tried do not do; it keeps files together that need to be together, and generally in order. This is important when one likes classical music and downloads pieces of music that should go together. Now, all that the author if this app needs to do now is to let the iCloud user to download several pieces of music from the cloud, keeping the parts together! What does it cost to get rid of the ads! Install FlacPlayer+, open your PC’s browser and set the url (your device IP address:8080,) and add your files. Easy as pie! Great feature!!

Minimal learning curve to import music files from Google Drive. Zero fussing with anything that Apple/Jobs typically tries to stick in our digital back doors/e-butts as a necessary condition to do anything on iThings. The overarching digital reich of FLAC seems to be much more subtle. If they’re even up in our business, I haven’t noticed so if it exists, it’s stealthy. That and the fact I’m all stretched out from proprietary manhandling of my ejunk makes all things FLAC a wonderful non-event of functional software that does what it claims to do, with zero bloat. I had a bunch of mp3s and Flacs that I always wanted to take with me on the go, but I never found an app, until now! This app is definitely a lot higher quality than the other apps that allow you to play your own files. HOWEVER, there is still a lot of problems with it. For reference, I’m comparing this to windows media player, since that’s what I am coming from 1. Sometimes the songs would play for 2 seconds, pause on its own, and not be able to play the rest of the song 2. UI is very outdated, but not a big problem. 3. When you turn off your phone it will still keep playing, but the overlay that allows you to pause without opening your phone sometimes requires me to press it twice and a lot of the time doesn’t even show up at all! Tl;dr: Best file player currently, but please fix the song problem. Show more

It’s awesome, but music doesn’t play music when the app closes. It used to, but all of a sudden it does not now. Not sure why.

Since the last iOS update my iPad and iPhone can't sync to my MBP because it requires software update on MBP (that won't update) solution is either buy new MBP or use another music player. I chose this and it's ok with issues. It's making a muddle of the meta data so much so that songs are appearing under the wrong artist. Now I can't find anyway to delete songs to replace versions with "cleaned" meta data. And the help link to the developer won't open. Show more

So far so good...the only thing that would make this app perfect is if they add a skip forward and back by 30 seconds feature.

This app does all you need when it comes to playing music and transferring audio files to your iPad. It helps to let you bypass all the ridiculous iTunes dance of endless limitations. No real evidence of intrusive ads so far after months of using it. Music ? plays in background while you work on other tasks. Only gave it 4 stars due to its somewhat clunky UI and its lack of being able to rotate to landscape orientation. ??? Show more
