App flows like a dream. My go to app for classical, baroque, and early music at home and on the go.

All Classical Portland modulates my life (regulates, if you will) so that I can have a wonderful structure and routine to different parts of my day, when tuning in helps me immensely to recognize whatever it is I need to accept at that moment. As everyone knows, that’s due to the incredible super powers Classical Music has to influence humans and animals, and as every All Classical Portland listener knows, nobody does it better than this station and their on-air talent. (With a shout-out to the good people off the mic, who make it all happen.) I don’t know all the ins-and-outs of this mobile app yet, but I know it’s all Love and 5 stars here because I click on it and hear All Classical Portland, wherever I am. Thank you! I’m not one for task or location specific apps. I’ve tried a few and, mostly, have deleted them immediately because the Safari web browser interface on my IPhone SE-size phone is better…which is amazing because it’s a pretty low bar for such a small display with wretched autocorrect and virtual keyboard. Yet, many app developers still fail at creating a user-friendly interface. I discovered All-Classsical Portland on a business trip years ago and have listened online ever since; when I became aware recently of the All-Classical app, I thought I’d give it a go. Lo and behold…it was AMAZING. I listen to other classical stations (even local to my home) and…the apps for listening are crap and still, I revert to the Safari browser. All-Classical Portland app has an amazing iPhone interface…why can’t more apps be this good? And with that, you have my long-winded opinion. By the way, I love this station. Show more

Unobtrusive, simple, reliable, and oh yeah, great music…what more could I ask for?

I had been googling the ACP website to access the music. The app is sooooo much better. An exquisitely crafted and executed application. Bravo!

This is really the best classical station I have ever found it’s interesting not boring and the app works perfectly it works just as well as the station plays music!

I can stream 4K video on my internet service. But the AllClassical stream drops out perhaps once per hour. After doing some research, it is apparent that all streaming tends to buffer a bit of content so that fluctuations in the stream are transparent. Typically services seem to pre load about 30 to 60 seconds of content so that if there is a hiccup in the internet connection it is not impacting the listener/watcher. Unfortunately the AllClassical app doesn’t do this or have a setting to enable such a feature, so it is problematic for those of us on the wrong side of the internet divide where service is not perfect. Glad there is an All Classical app to use. May help to make it more easier to access and play/stream live button on the main app page.

While driving around Portland, I turn on All Classical to keep me calm & focused in the midst of traffic. I like the way classical music orders my brain, & All Classical plays such a wide range of styles & composers that I never find myself bored. The hosts are informative and pleasant; you can tell they love this music too. Love this station! Keep up the good work! Show more
