Unfortunately, I'm hearing songs with a lot of backbeats which is a technique that the world uses to strengthen the flesh instead of the spirit so I'll have to delete the app. I'm searching for an app that will play music without backbeats, sliding and scooping (which I haven't heard on this app so I'm disappointed to have to delete it), or other elements of contamination by the influences of the world's music. The app is very nice but is missing the Pandora like functions like/dislike & what I would like to see most is a skip function. I wish they would also sing more young people songs. I probably use Pandora more often cause of these missing functions. Show more

1st off I think it’s time for another update. Honestly I can care less about whether or not I can use Siri or not. I don’t mind at all just opening the phone and simply tapping on the app to open it. Besides that the hymns have started to skip. There is now this skip that doesn’t stop. About every 30 to 40 seconds there is this skip now that wasn’t there before. I have nothing to say about the app itself for it continues to be a blessing and we are not to be complaining about really anything. The skip though id like to see go away. Also: I’d like for there to be a way “within” the app itself where the lyrics to each hymn is shown. Perhaps right on the screen as each hymn comes up. Right there under the title to the hymn there could be something we tap that displays the lyrics right there without having to leave the app. That’s really all. Update the app to remove this skipping and look to add a new feature that allows for us to sing along with the hymns with the lyrics right there on the screen in the app. May The Lord lead you to add more and more hymns that glorify Him and continue to help build His church. Oh…also, when that part comes up where a scripture is read with some commentary; maybe you can add that all to the app on the screen aswell for us to read the scriptures and the commentary aswell without needing to leave the app. Show more

Best app ever. Songs filled with the truth, and life

Thank you for this wonderful app! I have been looking for a long time to find an app where I can just listen to traditional, spiritually filled Christian music like Gregorian Chant or Old fashioned hymns. I’m not into the modern, contemporary Christian music of nowadays! When I saw this app in the store, I was thrilled! Just turning on this app and listening to these nourishing hymns is spiritually refreshing, I almost shed tears! I was having a bad day and these hymns calmed me down and lifted my spirit! Love enjoying Christ through these wonderful songs. I play this station all day long and feel quite lifted. The small insertions of scripture between songs is so nice!

Wonderful listening to these beautiful hymns. It has it all! You can click an option to display the lyrics to sing along. There is also an option to show the sheet music. Couldn’t ask for more. It makes my day to hear these wonderful hymns! Show more

I don't care for this homemade style of hymns I don't know.

To each his own, but I don't care to listen to adults singing cheesy 80s sounding songs to 7 year olds at VBS. Every time I hit the app and try to like the music I just can't stomach it. Like I said, this may be great music for some but not for me. (App deleted on same day as installation.) I'm sorry. I wanted to love it. Show more

You get 5 seconds of audio if your lucky and then it buffers or crashes. Too bad too; it's the only app out there that does a hymns radio instead of being a hymnal. Show more
