    Major Bugs Ignored
Crashes on every exit, hangs on every reload. The anxiety of an impending crash makes it intolerable. Such a waste. Incremental updates omit major issues. I’ve had this now for what seems like forever...it was never a solid performer, only a tease. The latest update got me to try yet again. Same story. Too many other apps passing this one up. If any other dev implements elastic audio and subs you have no need for this aggravation. (Cubasis, nudge, nudge. Zenbeats, wink, wink.) Show more

Convenient Optimized Alternative to Desktop Production
I’ve followed the internal upgrade path and use the latest version of Auria Pro with all FabFilter synths and effects. I own basically every major music app and DAW but each time I try to use an alternative to AP, I immediately miss the CPU-optimized efficiency of both the FabFilter plugins when hosted through AP, and the deep multisampled EX24/SFZ acoustic instruments in Lyra. With the recent update allowing fast, convenient, intuitive chaining of midi au (including the Atom piano roll) there is nothing that bears fair comparison to the musical experience and control AP offers on iPad. Audiobus and interapp audio not working
I have this app and I have purchased upgrade to pro. Audiobus not working. It will not accept tracks in the input matrix coming from audiobus. This was working just a couple weeks ago. Please fix. Inter-app audio also not available. Show more

    Amazing
I'm amazed at what can be done on an iPad. Kudos to the dev on the most ambitious app I've used (and I've used a lot!). I can't review Auria Pro, since I received a promo code for it, but I do have it, and I'm blown away with how well midi was implemented and how well it works on a mini 2 and iPad4. The plug-ins are top shelf, as is the dev who must not need sleep, given the time and effort he's put into this. Show more

    Terrible
How do i get a refund? Both auria and auria "pro" are useless to me can't finish any of my projects because they keep crashing

    Best iPad DAW. Period.
5 Stars. This is the best iPad DAW you can get if you are seriously interested in home recording on your device. Especially if you are used to recording on a standard digital DAW, like Pro Tools, Logic, Live, etc, then you will feel right at home with this. The IAA support is hit or miss, but mainly due to what third party app you are using with this. I have been looking for a professional mobile recording solution, and Auria provides for all of my needs. While the LE version provides everything I need, I'm excited to update to Auria Pro to take advantage of the powerful warping and slicing tools. Show more

    Just another over hyped app
Ok first of all I bought the LE edition tried it out then bought the upgrade. It looks like I have the upgrade. I think? Nothing on the app says I'm using the upgraded version and the store still says upgrade for the listed price. Tried the restore purchases option but nothing ever happens. All I know is I paid for it cause my pay pal account shows the purchase history. Anyway lots of hassle for a mediocre app with over priced plugins Show more

    Floored
I am happy to say this app has exceeded my every expectation. Once you understand how it works and where all the little helpful tools and plug-ins are, there is nothing you can't do sonically (with some limitation I suppose; it is an iPad powering it after all). You could produce an entire album if you really wanted to and it would not be terrible. Extremely satisfied. Show more

    Awesome!
Unparalleled! Closest thing to protools on a Mac that I have found available for iPad. Quits when paired with Bose headphones via Bluetooth though, any way to fix this?

    Update
At first I was extremely disappointed with Auria as when I tried recording with my CAD u37 with effects (like reverb, EQ etc...) the sound would stutter horribly and it wouldn't even record. After a bit of experimenting, I tried switching the Core Audio Mode to Legacy and everything is working perfectly! I can now record with both my CAD u37 and Alesis I/O Dock while monitoring effects with crystal clear sound. If they add the ability to monitor over bluetooth headphones, I will give it 5 stars. Dissapointed
I'd give it less stars but I think it's a little bit my fault for not making sure the features I was looking for we're included, namely a midi sequencer. I just thought it was a standard at this point. Just research the app better than I did and maybe you'll walk away happier. Show more

    Markers
It would be great if in the next update we could get the ability to create more than 4 markers and the ability to name them.

    DISAPPOINTED !!
Does not work with Audiobus. Can not control metronome volume. Sound is GREAT, but without a loud click is hard to play in time. PLEASE make it work with Audiobus. Thanx

    So here is the scoop
First off I upgraded from LE to full version and have many many addons, plugins... I play guitar. I love playing. Do I need a DAW? Probably nothing great. Garageband might do. I like to get stuff.. When I say that I mean here is my Ipad line up.. Understand most of these apps have all the addons etc.... First and foremost 1. Audiobus (Incredable) Guitar Amp simulation 1. Jamup pro (Awsome, Great tone best in cost) 2. AmpKit (Awsome, Best for interface and great tone) 3. Stompbox (Its ok, neat tool) 4. Guitartone (Don't bother) 5. Overdrive THM for Auria (Awsome, Perhaps best tone) Filter type apps 1. Level 24 (Don't bother) 2. Turnado (Nice just not for me) Synth and Midi type apps 1. Midiguitar (Increable) 2. Nave (Incredable) 3. Alchemy (Incredable) 4. Sunrizer (Awsome) 5. Launchkey (Its nice, fun tool) 6.Launchpad (Nice also) 7. Soundprism (Its ok, just not for me) Drum apps 1. DM1 (Awsome) 2. Drumbeats + (Its ok) DAWS 1. Auria (This and Cubasis are my tops, this lacks Midi) 2. Cubasis (Same as above, good effects but Auria has it beat) 3. Meteor (Its ok, but I will use cubasis and Auria) 4. Garageband (Nice, just lacks what I need) 5. Multitrack DAW (Junk) My must have apps for my guitar playing and recording are Auria (With addons.. costly), Cubasis, Ampkit+ (Loaded), Jamup pro (Loaded), Overload, MidiGuitar, Alchemy (With addons) , Nave, DM1, Audiabus (A must). These apps, my old, USA fender, a DR. Z amp, Focusrite Itrack, and its good times. Midiguitar was a blast. Now as far as Auria. If Auria had Midi I would probably use it alone (I do like the feel and look of Cubasis better, its just less in options.. not much though) So far I found Auria easy to learn, clean sounding, easy editing and full of features if you are willing to spend the cash. Plan on spending about 200 or so for Auria (I say its worth it though). It on an Ipad is a very mobile studio and the other apps let me take my effects and guitar playing anywhere and record my work, and more. If your gonna wine about cost get Cubasis... Now as far as my tone... Face it, my pedal board and amps are extremely hard to beat in tone and I wont tell you these apps are close... they are good but not as good as several thousands in tube amps and pedals (Most, hand built), but I don't wanna lug tons of stuff around always. Hope this helps, I get wordy. Great job on a wonderful DAW, it and Cubasis are equal for different reasons. Meteor is nice, I just don't use it anymore, it is also very capable. Multitrack DAW is junk in my opinion. Garageband is awsome for the price... If your cheap get it for 5 bucks (I just don't use it, it lacks what I need) this, comes from a noob in DAW multitrack recording, but I learn fast and read a lot. Show more

Five stars for audio quality !
But 3 stars for glitches. Ok, i love the fact that you gave me a taste of a $50 app which people would think im crazy to buy but even at $25 bucks i expect no problems. Most of the app population dont buy one app for $25. I realize that maybe its audiobus causing the problems. Show more

    I guess
Really great idea for the iPad, the only problem is that the input has a really bad digital clip and sound. Even if I run an amp into my ipad, it still sounds like my guitar is being processed through some sort of synthesizer. Great for importing tracks that have already been recorded, but forget about recording into it. Maybe it's my interface, but for now 2 stars. When the digital problem disappears, 5 starts. Other multi track recorders work great when running an iRig interface. Maybe the developer has some sort of trick. Please let me know. Show more

    Version 1.06 is Outstanding
This app is fantastic. Tracking/editing/mixing all work superbly. The effects sound very good. Several major bugs were fixed in this version so folks that previously had reservations about stability can put them to rest. I will say that to utilize Audiobus or have larger projects going it would definitely be in your best interest to have an iPad 3 or later (Wavemachine Labs does mention this in the release notes). Just waiting for MIDI sequencing/editing and VST instruments that can run inside the app it will be a full five stars (might have to wait for the next iPad for that, but I hope not). In any case, the time of the iOS DAW has arrived people, embrace it! Show more

    Help
It does not work on iPads: after loading and after playing twice, it goes back to the icon. Reloading it again, it does not install completely anymore and freezes. Please update! Show more
