We have been using this on iPods with our son has autism, and it is a gem for him! Very simple interface, with big buttons, and album art prominently featured, allow him to independently find and play his favorite music, while preventing unfettered access to all of Apple Music. I can't believe I paid money for this. The only screen that shows up is the one showing the currently playing song and on it I can only move on to another random song. I can't see all my albums like the picture shown on the app's purchase page. There is a set of 4 tiles squares.... maybe this is supposed to take me to my albums???? It just keeps changing the theme. Too many bugs to be used at all. Show more

Like Apple products, Stezza shines in its simplicity. Large album artwork and controls that are perfect for driving, exercising etc. The artwork can take a minute to load initially but once it's in the players cache it's like magic. One trick is to go back one song for a song that doesn't load artwork. I can't wait for future updates. Keep up the great work Team Stezza! Show more

Remembers what was playing last and at what point which is more than I can say for other music players.

As Apple Music has become less and less user friendly, I’ve been thru severl music apps and this has become my primary listening app. Simple. Intuitive. Has what I need and have had few gliches, none serious. Show more

Album art wasn’t showing up, I think the issue was if stock music app was open it for some reason does not allow the album art file to be accessed in Stezza. My only beef now is that unless I’m blind, I cannot find a search function, which is horrible when you have hundreds of artists and over 8000 tracks. Help me lol. Show more

To be honest I really had high hopes for this app. After seeing the beautiful interface i thought I’d be hooked. However, when trying to cycle through my music library the app was extremely laggy regardless of a songs file type. Often times, the app would freeze completely even when only trying to move on to the next track. Definitely would not recommend until this is improved Show more

This is as simple as implementing an application will terminate callback, but the developers haven't done that. It's obnoxious to quit the app, but still have music playing. EDIT: Developer responded by saying this is by design and music is "supposed to continue playing while app is not in the foreground". This is not a question of foreground and background states, but one of terminated states. Spotify, Apple Music Soundcloud, Youtube, etc. all stop playing when the application quits. It's obnoxious to require some ulterior method to stop the music when you quit an app. This is not a feature, it's a design flaw. Show more

Not working. I can see my music. It just won’t play. No troubleshooting FAQ found. So far... a complete bust of an app.

I downloaded this app with the hopes of being able to edit playlists. I can’t find a way to create a playlist, or add or delete tracks from my playlist. I don’t want to delete this app and waste my $3. Does anyone know how to edit the playlists? Show more

A simple player with large buttons for in-car operation. Frees users from all the misdirection imbedded in Apple’s music player. I was so tired of getting funneled into Apple’s imusic site and all its cloudiness! I just want to play my music on my phone. Thank you Stezza! Show more

Love the controls and the lay out. My iPad goes on my dash horizontally. I miss how Apple Music used to take up the whole screen. I don't like how the new version looks in the iPad now. That's why I went looking for this app. When the app works it's great. But out of no where it freezes and all my music stops playing. Show more

After searching for a long time for an iOS alternative media player that makes it easier to control and navigate through my music while in the car, I finally stumbled upon Stezza. I was at the point of trying to find someone to build me an app the way I wanted it to work on iPad. When I found Stezza I was blown away at how simple and easy the layout is. Time will tell how easy t is to use in the car, but for now, I love it. One thing I would like to add would be a clock though. Having my iPad as my in car UI, I constantly have to take my eyes off the road just to try and see what time it is listed in the iPad. If this app had a clock on it and it was at least twice as big as the standard iOS clock font size, this app would be perfect for me. Update - after having used the app for over a month now, I've started to see the bugs. I use the app on my iPad in my car for around 2 hours everyday and at least once or twice a week the app will freeze (even without me doing anything), but the music keeps playing even with the app closed and it sometimes takes a full song for it to stop. The app sometimes even has a hard time starting up. It just crashes each time. When it does open properly, somehow it keeps putting music on shuffle when that wasn't an option I had on. Love the clean UI and no ramming streaming music down my throat. Also nice how it integrates with iOS music library. Can we edit the bottom categories maybe it a future update? I love this clean simple music app. Easy to use in places where you need big buttons(driving, etc...) Show more
