The timer does not work properly. No matter what time limit you put it always will count down from 1 hour. A minor inconvenience, but it is quite annoying.

Sound is interrupted every few minutes.

Sleep Mask has saved me so many times. As someone who is super sensitive to noise while trying to sleep, I set it to "brown noise (soft)", pop some headphones in, and sleep like a baby. Neighbors testing the bass level of their sound system at 11pm? Sleep mask. Dad snoring so loud I can hear it through the walls at my parents house? Sleep mask. No music, note changes, animal or weather sounds. Just steady, smooth white noise. I use the "brown noise soft" setting and turn it up loud enough to block out smaller sounds that would wake me up. Show more

You have to pay to enable the background audio, otherwise you have to keep your phone screen on all night. I'm deleting it right now.

No way am I paying $3 for a mediocre app just so I can turn my screen off to save my battery.

You can set a timer or just have it continuously running. I personally like the brown noise to sleep to. Great in hotels! Just try to have it charging if overnight, because it uses quite a bit of battery. Get it if you're a noise freak like I am! Show more

Cute redesign, and does help me sleep (great on trips too). However the redesign put the start button too close to where you select the sleep time, so you often change the amount of time to rest instead of starting the count down. You have to touch it at just the right spot for it to work. Show more

This used to be one of my favorite apps. Terrible update. Won't restore purchases. Code is super glitchy. Won't even let you BUY upgrades in app. Ugly new icon, to add insult to injury. Show more

I used to love this app, but since the upgrade it switches the sound off as soon as my screen goes to sleep. What good is a sleep app that only works if you're actively using your phone?! Show more

Too bad I updated. Now I can't hear the noise while screen is off. I bought the app over a year ago and use it every night. It's says I have ads turned off but I still see ads. Won't let me restore purchases either. Show more

Makes you pay for background noise and it doesn't even work!!! BOGUS!!!

I have had 3 white noise sound machines from Brookstone ($50.00 each) in the last 17 years and I loved them. But, when the last one broke I found and bought this app. It is everything Brookstone is except it is way cheaper and more portable!! Best $1.99 I ever spent!! Show more

I love the different sound ranges of noise you can choose from. We use the brown noise which is not as high of a pitch as the white noise. It is really soothing and drowns out distracting noises perfectly. Show more

I've been looking for the soft versions of the other color noises; I'm glad they're featured here.

This app is perfect for masking distracting noise in an open office environment. Really helps to cancel background voices, laughter, etc. works great when on telecom with a single earpiece. Put an earbud in the other ear, kick off the app--totally blocks outside sound while on call. Really glad I found this. Show more
