    Not enough Instruments
This app contains only 12 instruments.

    Got cheated on this app
In the description it said, it's offered in Polish but after I paid for it and opened the app, the very language I got this for was not available. Very disappointed. Show more

    Great introduction to music.
Although these apps were designed for babies and toddlers, I've purchased every one of the Video Touch apps for my daughter who is a young adult with special needs. Autism is one of her many issues and the ability to control what she watches and to watch the same videos over and over if she chooses makes her so happy. Now I have a grandson who is old enough to enjoy my iPad and he is intrigued as well. We can talk about the pictures before he starts a video and discuss what is happening just like reading a book together but with moving pictures instead. The ability to set a minimum length to each video and to choose how to close the video - with a touch anywhere on the screen or by an arrow icon - are very useful so that a very inexperienced user can control the screen and then advance to a more sophisticated method when they are ready. Another nice feature is that if you own more than one of the apps you will find that you only need to open one of them and all the rest are accessible from little icons at the bottom screen. This particular app is a wonderful introduction to music. My daughter is highly motivated by music so this is one of her favorites. I enjoy the pieces being played by the various musicians almost as much as she does. I have purchased quite a number of apps specifically for my daughter and the Video Touch apps are among the best that I own. Each video is recorded beautifully and intriguing to watch and the developer has continued to augment and improve them over time. I highly recommend all of the Video Touch apps. Show more

    Video touch-musical instruments
I was really disappointed. I thought my child would get to touch and make the instrument. It turned out to be videos of people playing instruments.

Terrific fun and value for toddlers
Our girl is about 14 months and just loves this series. It’s a good buy for both the fun and the education. She will walk around with the phone for 30 minutes at a time smiling the whole time. Be sure you have a good cover on your phone and a carpeted area. Also, be sure to set the phone to Guided Access (Settings…accessibility options) or otherwise they will be frustrated if they accidentally wander out of the app. Show more

Love this app for my 2 year old son!
This app and it's 5 companion apps are some of the best apps for the youngest of iDevice users. My 2 year old and 4 year old love these apps. Perfect and simple! Your child will be given a grid of icons that correlate to the chosen app (in this case guitars, saxophones, etc). They choose an icon and they get to watch a continuous (no fast cuts!) clip of the chosen icon. Watch the TED Talk on kids watching shows with fast cuts to learn why that is NOT a good thing. Get this! Kudos to the developer for shaving around 200MB off of each app in the latest update! Thank you! Show more

    Why so few women?
Is it that hard to be balanced? My granddaughter needs to see men an women and boys and girls of all colors making music. I'm disappointed by the imbalances portrayed - it seems likely you didn't even try. Show more

    Felicitaciones
Okay but mostly home video quality...
The previous Video Touch apps feature different angles of filming and various settings. Most of these are people playing in their homes in their kitchen or loving room. Not very exciting backgrounds for most with just a static shot from what seems to be a home video camera. There are some good guitar angles like down the neck of the guitar where the player's face is not seen. The xylophone section has close ups of the xylophones. Overall I thought most videos were vain players wanting to be seen and less wanting you to see their hands at play... There's even a drummer who gives the devil horn sign at the end. I find it fun and funny but some parents may find that questionable for their toddlers. In summary, the quality of videos leave something to be desired. I'd like to see some more moving camera shots or non-static camera videos in the future. My kids love all of the previous Video Touch apps and watch them on our iPad. I thought this one would be their favorite. Unfortunately it's the one I think is the weakest and least interesting of the four so far. Show more
