    Doesn’t work at all
It worked only somewhat years ago but the new updates have ruined it. It won’t upload any of my songs. When I look up the playlists through the app and I select a song it does not load it into the app. Complete waste of money. Show more

    Pretty good in most ways
I haven’t had many of the problems described (so perhaps developers are paying attention), so far the app hasn’t crashed, connects with my iTunes playlist, and keeps good track of my run, speed etc. However, I’m pretty sure that some songs are not being adjusted. Usually I can tell that the speed of a song played through the app is faster than the original. But fairly often, it does not seem that a song is speeded up. I’m not sure if this is related to copyright issues (a previous app I had could only adjust a few certain songs as the other songs were copyright protected) or whether it’s a technical problem. If the former, it would be good if the developers state this up front. If the latter, it would be good if this could be fixed so that all songs reach the desired tempo. Also, I’m only able to indicate a desired tempo at increments of five (e.g., 160, 165, 170). It would be great to do smaller increments (that is, 161, 162, 163) Show more

    I love this ... BUT...
    - app crashes frequently when running the analyzing step. otherwise, I adore this app! I’d love to see Last.FM scrobbling support added!

    Non-functuonal
Crashes constantly. Will not load any songs. Does not work at all. If the dev can't or doesn't want to figure out what's needed to update, this app needs to be pulled from the store. Show more

    DONT BUT IT
I bought this and every time I try and play any song it crashes. Not worth the time and definitely not worth even the 99 cents.

    Will not load any music
Useless. Should be removed from the store. The app will not load any music from an iPhone on iOS 12.

    Gave up
Wouldn’t analyze my running play list. Crashed at least 5 times while trying to analyze. Then i let I play music while it analyzed. Crashed again. I would like my $.99 back. Show more

    Audio Crash Step
Started out fairly stable, but this $4.99 app hasn't weathered recent iOS/iTunes updates well. It cuts out during workouts now, plays one song, or can't locate playlists, really unstable. When it was working the UI wasn't sophisticated but it did the trick. adjustable bpm sliding scale. The songs on my playlist are slowed down or speed up to 180bpm for cadence training and the vocals dont sound distorted which is great! I am going to look for other options. Show more

    Informative and made an impact
I'm working on my 1min mile time(beginner level) w/o this app my last mile time was 11:30. This time, it was 10:13!! This app made it easier to stay on track oh and I realized how slow (Bpm) my "workout" song list is. Show more

    hmm
The crossfading between tracks is quite annoying while running when you want to get to a good song. in saying that it was very useful when it worked. Also, i recently updated to ios9 or whatever the new iphone software is, and now it wont load my playlist at all, and freezes. very annoying. Show more

    Won't work with Apple Music
Please note before buying! This app does not work with Apple Music. All my music is Apple Music now that I am a subscriber. Absolutely no use to me. With millions of Apple Music subscribers out there, I hope this can be changed. Show more

Terrible waste of money. App crashes as soon as I try to add a song.

Works opposite of what is says
The bpm work opposite if what it says. Increasing at 120 bmp and slowing down at 180 bpm. Waste of money.

    What?
Better get to work. Too fast, too slow. Not matching up with my foot pod at all. I'm going thru my whole play list and moving out the songs that aren't working. Seems like the app was suppose to keep me from having to do that. Show more

    Game changer!
This very well may be the first app I have ever written, and I own several hundred apps. Audio Step solved a very specific problem brilliantly and seamlessly. I started running 5 years ago, and discovered 2 years ago that running 180 steps per minute solved all my shin split problems. I spent hours creating a playlist of my favorite tracks at 180 bpm using Audacity, but it was manual and time consuming. I've run to the same 8-9 songs for 3 years! Audio step seamlessly took songs in my library (makes sure they are downloaded to the device and not just streaming from iTunes Match) and ran them at 180 bpm. Fast and seamless. Loved my first run with Audio Step, very motivating to have new songs. Songs will advance (with a 3-4 second processing delay) if you double click your headphone button. Highly recommended for all runners! Show more

kinda liking it few tweeks and this would be awsome
I currently run with a metrenome so cadence has always been a focus. App works good. Not sure about the claim of no chipmunks. Alvin, Simon and Big T are not on my play list but bump a 120BPM song to 180 and the speed of the lyric makes it sound chipmunk like, just no high pitch. Maybe I am technically challenged but I would love play lists, play by artist, genre, ect to mimic Ipod function. If that was available or even better play music directly from Ipod and app makes the changes in the back ground (really the same)...The app would be GREAT. A little fine tuning and this could be a hit. The app was unable to analyze quite a few of my songs. The analyzing process takes sometime and I only have a 2 G library. You can play while it is analyzing. If you like music and do a lot of metrenome runs this is a great alternative for a Buck...I recommend Show more
