A truly arranger like app that works fantastic, the only thing is missing in order for me to use it more often is variations with in patterns or styles. When i select a style out of (about) 20 that are in this app i miss variation for verse; chorus variation for fill-in's ; brakes for bridges. Because different styles are recorded in different rooms using different echo or filters or microtones you can not put two together without noticing that both are recorded under different adjustments, and thats a bummer, when i find two styles that go together one is recorded closer to the microphone in a warm room like setup and the other one is recorded with an small but noticeable echo on a small stage with more expressed finger gripping and a march like taste to it. I am not saying the app is not useful, the app is great to put some ideas down before you go home but if this app will have variations with in styles at least two minimum and five ideal plus one fill at least and one brake then i believe this app will be way way more popular because there are thousands if not more apps that will let you built drum tracks and thousands that will give you options for bass tracks and keyboard tracks but its almost impossible to find an app that will give you a truly guitar strumming track like this app so if the builder of this app will add the options needed this is going to be a genius move. The update is good. The app is nice. I wish was a little more intuitive, other than that now is pretty good. Two wishes, would be nice to have a setting for default chord size (now when you add a chord is always 2 bar) and one button to add a chord at the end of the song (with auto insert mode) Show more

Noise is all I get now. They have become worthless.

The new track builder is an awesome update. So you can Input sections... once for each section.... and easily create the entire song. Not as good visually as iRealPro.... but sound a lot better. I can play the song in this app to help me with timing.... while viewing the song in “fake” format in iRealPro... which doesn’t sound as good. Not sure if they got audio bus stuff fixed. BUT THS TRACK BUILDER HELPS A LOT. Show more

All these were great in the beginning but first they froze and would not play sound. Now they won’t even load up on a AUDIOBUS. All the products seem to have never kept up with the iOS updates....Don’t waste your money on any of these. Show more

You need to built file transfer system in your each app!! I made chord session in multiband... but could not use in acoustic sessionband.... Apple opened and improved their file system in ipad ex; file app documents app etc..... You have to make file attaching system in your each app!!! If not.... every each app does not mean any more... Your every apps are great!!!! But if we can not use chord sb files freely.... then its nothing Each apps can posesssb files Do not tell me use computer!!! Good luck to you!! A very usable app for practice and songwriting. Freezes when paused sometimes. Please update. Also, can you add 6 chord, e.g.; C6, F6, Fmin6, etc. such a tasty variation that is missing on all the Session Band apps. Show more

I simply love this app. The demos are perfect and inspiring for anyone wanting to get song ideas. The wider chord range provided by the app provides more cooler tones. This has to be the best value five bucks ever spent Show more

My copies of SessionBand Acoustic and SessionBand Piano fail to load completely or function at all when installed on my iPad Pro. I purchased the SessionBand BigBundle as well to see if the ‘newer’ version of Acoustic would work - but it didn’t. In fact, none of the SessionBand apps in the bundle work at all on my iPad Pro. I’m running IOS 9.3.1. I’ve deleted and reinstalled Acoustic and Piano several times without success. I’ve emailed the developer twice on their feedback address - but haven’t heard back from them. I recommend that you not purchase any SessionBand apps until they are updated to run on the latest IOS and iPads. Show more

Seriously? No diminished or augmented chords? What a joke

Don't expect any Drum or Rhythm tracks when you purchase the acoustic version. I'm not sure what version you need to have in order to get drums are rhythm. I also don't see any difference between the acoustic 1 and the acoustic 2 version so save your money. Show more

Even with the latest Audiobus update. Whether you start Sessionband first or after. This needs to be fixed on all the Sessionband apps.

I uninstalled the app and did a clean update and that solves everything. Wonderful update!

This app along with all the Sessionband apps are great! I use them every day in my music creation. The new updates are pretty cool too. In the future it would be nice to see the chord selection increased (it's nice now) and the ability to let a cord ring out longer than one measure. Overall I give them 5 stars. Show more

Out of the box it works fine until you want to edit a track. Editing is very difficult and seems to crash the app. All Session Band apps no longer work with Audio bus. Instruments are great if you use it as is. Show more

I have bought all of these only to be disappointed by no updates! Really? Very unprofessional.

Pro - Really great app for doing loops and picking out cords. After a short time its pretty cool to have during jam sessions. Each loop can be made as complicated as you can imagine. This is well worth the price. Con - After picking my chord progressions I had problems switching to different rhythms. Once that is fixed the world will be perfect. Show more

Very handy to have, not necessarily intuitive to use, however. Also, there don't seem to be any diminished chords, neither triads nor sevenths...that stopped me in the middle of trying to write something. A brilliant, useful, but evolving app. Show more

Great app for getting some ideas together. Great app for practicing. The musicians are very good. However some of the loops are a bit chopped sounding, so I wouldn't necessarily use the app for "song writing/production" Might be nice to be able to select different modes, but that is outside the scope of this app. As a practice app the price is really good.
