    Good, could be perfect
Would be perfect if the app could open GuitarPro / tab files. Please add!!!!! Let us choose the songs we want to learn. Thanks!

    Scale degrees
Nice fun learning app. Can we get scale degrees as a Note Name selection? Would be helpful leading scales.

    Basspro
Lost the sound to the app. Unable to restore. Therefore useless.

    Needs more features
I really like this app, but I play a 5 string bass. I wish it would show a 5 string, even though the current songs don't use the 5th string, it is a visual thing for me, when I try the song on my bass I keep using the top string because that is what it shows, but I am off a string because the way it looks on my iPad that only uses 4 strings. I also wish it would highlight only the notes that you got wrong when showing you what you were suppose to play compared with what you played that way it would be easier to see your mistakes, still need to show the whole song of the notes but highlight the correct note and then highlight what note you were suppose to play, if each mistake could be highlighted a different color with the same to match the color of the note you were suppose to play. For example red highlighted note for what is suppose to be played and then red highlighted of the note you actually played and then a different color highlighted for the next mistake you made and the matching correct highlighted note that you were suppose to play. I hope you understand what I am trying to say. Also wish it had and option and place to get ahold of you to have suggestions and features, us customers would like to see in the app, I hope someone from the creators of this app see my review, I have no other way to say my opinion like other apps have with open communication to each other. My iPad has to get reset from the beginning which erases all the apps on my iPad and have to put each app back on my iPad and unless it is usually hooked up to facebook it loses everything you already did on the game. Make these changes and I'll give it 5 stars. Thank you Show more

    Songs Not Complete
The songs do not have the complete parts. This would be a good app if the songs included all of the changes (i.e. verse, chorus, bridge, break). For example, Good Times only includes the main riff but not the bridge. This seems to be the case with every song I tried. Show more

Not for a newbie, but helps you strengthen your skills
Great to help a bass player who has some knowledge, increase their knowledge and skills. One Problem: on the scales the system plays a scale with an Eb and when you play it back from the fretboard they call it a D#. So you get it "wrong" even though they are technically the same note. If you could fix that, I would go 5 stars. Show more

Tutoring in this app means did you get it right.
No coaching or teaching, just listen to the sample song and click the screen to test your recollection. Wide selection of songs adds a star and I may find more use for it I knew squat about playing bass. Show more

    Good/helpful app
This app is pretty helpful allthough it would be nice if the was a section to teach on how to read sheet music and convert to playing and if you would add more songs/bands such as metalica, motley crue, and iron maiden to name a few Show more

    Awesome App
This app is great. Hopefully in future updates, the developers will add a feature to slow down the song even further, for us beginners!

    Basspro
Nice collection of bass lines. I wish the tones sounded like a bass-not a keyboard!

    Good intentions...
The app is meant well, I think. However for almost all the songs within, it really isn't the bassline that we are being shown. It's a melody line or the guitar riff that is being played. As a bass player I was hoping for the actual basslines to be present. A little disappointed but hopefully in the future this will be fixed. Otherwise it's useless to me. Show more

    just ok
This program needs work, the lesson plan is on the right track but it only plays bits and pieces of these songs. I could see after mastering the first part of the song a graduation to the next part until the entire song is completed, and then a jam that plays the other instruments without the bass line. Now that would be worth 5-9 bucks. Tutorial needs some work too. Show more

    Almost there
It would be nice to read the note labels on the fretboard. They're too freakin small and they don't stand out against the highlight color. Also the icons on the upper left aren't intuitive. Show more

    Bass Guitar Pro
As a beginning bass guitar player I love this app! It's been very helpful in between lessons and it's great to practice on when I don't have my bass with me. Only downfall I find is the rotating off the instrument when you turn your iPad/iPhone. Wish there was a way to lock the app so it wouldn't turn when playing! Otherwise I highly recommend this app! Well worth the $!! Show more

    Not bad
Not a bad bass app for the price, but could definitely use some improvements. The main one: have the sound actually come from a bass guitar, not what sounds like a keyboard! This really mars the experience. Also, would be very handy for those learning bass to see the actual note displayed that's being played (i.e. E, A, D, C, etc). This could be distracting for some, so it should be a feature that can be turned on or off. Another great feature would be the ability to pick a key and have those notes constantly highlighted on the fretboard as long as that key was chosen. This would be extremely useful for someone learning the fretboard. With changes such as these, it would be a 5 star app! Show more

    I like it - works ok ...
I am a novice to lower intermediate bass player (whatever that tells you) I need to play more. Am self taught. I like this for the scales mostly so far. It took me awhile to figure my way around and then I saw the "I" for info button which helped a lot. For sure I would recommend this to a beginner. 1) I do get crashes on occasion, not to many so not to annoyed yet. (Minus 1/2 a star) 2) Also I have trouble getting the "neck" lined up on my phone (iPhone4) as nicely as I'd like but it works fine. 3) It would be great if the view shifted as the notes moved to a different section of the neck ? (Minus 1/2 star) All in all for $3 it is well worth it to me. I used it for awhile before I went for the Pro version. I wanted a couple things that were turned off to those needing to save a bit of money Thanks for the app Tom Best, DT Show more
