    Broken.
Don't buy. Looks like the app was sold to a app collecting company. We will never see another update.

    Completely useless for actual guitarists
I was hoping for an app that would have an actual approximation of a guitar fretboard to help me visualize scales and chords. Instead, the fretboard is arranged upside down and only has 4 frets. This app is totally useless and could actually be harmful to beginner guitarists who mistakenly think this will help them learn the fretboard. Instead it will only create bad habits and false confidence. Show more

Used to be the best simulated guitar app...
...even better than Apple's own guitar in GarageBand, however it has been unusable since the developer has failed to update the app to work properly with iOS 8 and Audiobus. It deserves 5 stars and it'll get those stars if they simply put some money back into updating! Also, I've never been able to get the MIDI function to work and they are no tutorials! Show more

    I feel like scam
You know, it really sound nice this app. But I bought it for the premium functions and now, I can't make run the midi out using FL Studio Mobile. That wouldn't be a real problem since you could contact a support team... And that's why I give this 1 star... I like to put 0 stars, but I can't. I paid for premium features that don't work AND there are no real support. Unless something bring usefulness to this app, don't bother with downloading it, and don't pay for features that has no support. Show more

    Very Slick App!
I simply can not believe the stupid, petty reasons people are giving for trashing this very excellent app. Don't believe it. This thing rocks. The closest you're going to get without grabbing a real guitar. I would give it 5 stars, but it loses a star because it took so long to fix broken "song" name and artist saving. Show more

And "F" for failing to deliver MIDI
Wonderful sounds, but don't buy the upgrades people! I bought the upgrade specifically to be able to use it as a virtual MIDI controlled instrument with my other iPad apps. It crashes every time, pure and simple. How sad. It could be such a great app, but now it's actually just a ripoff. Show more

    MIDI doesn't work
Paid for MIDI, but the app crashes when expanding Hardware MIDI when there is another MIDI app running. And it's impossible to enable Local MIDI (useful if using Midiflow) and Network MIDI. It's a good app if you do not care about MIDI. Show more

    The Thrill Is gone
Looks like the Dev did the bird after initial success. Not responding to emails or forum post. There was supposed to be a midi fix, it's not working in Ipad Air. No updates for Ios7. Shame on you Amidio. Won't happen again when you release Drum Fire or Cyclops. Show more

    Authentic sound
Sounds real,I use a lot of guitar vst in my ableton daw this is on a par with them sound wise.keeps your interest and produces results.just a little improvement in solo bends and slurs would put this on the moon thanks Show more

    Chord sequencer
I went ahead and bought the upgrade because I wanted to experiment with the chord editor and sequencer. That's worth the price all by itself. The file manager is good. Anyone who wants electric effects can easily get them via audiobus. The original Martin tone is great, but I can make this sound like just about anything I want. Four-finger tapping on the solo board can do some amazing things. I already have plenty of guitars and guitar apps. This app is a great addition to my list of options. Thanks for making it. Keep up the good work. Show more

    Great but one problem.....
Can you slide to the next fret and strum instead of picking up your finger to go to the next one.like guitarism.

    I don't understand but I hope I will
Its not 100% as fast as real life. Looks nice but not for dummies, Could be a tutorial. Music software ppl would probably understand easily. Could be a drum option to create with in case u didn't want to just sound like jack Johnson or some hippie stuff, the drums are table drums. Get rid of that little info box for premium I already bought it don't need to know there will be updates in the future iPad will let me know. Give it an electric option and some rock drums and some distortions that would be really fun. Show more

    2 words, "Amazingly Realistic"
Well, for starters, i would highly recommend u download this amazing app, then come back and read what I gotta say..( oh yeah, its that awesome) well, i must admit to you all i didn't think I was gonna like it as much as I do, and yes, I did feel silly at first strumming guitar strings on an iPad screen. its different, that's for sure. but after a few minutes, I realized this thing is amazingly realistic, just in a smaller, flatter version. **Smiles**...I find myself playing with this app all the time, and everyone I show it to immediately downloads the app before they walk away from me, wish they had other instruments like this to download!! 2 thumbs way up...if u like to play guitar, or just pretend u do, u will love it, guaranteed!!!!!!!
